How would a body fall onto a car’s gas pedal?

A foot would have to press down on the gas pedal, and people who are struck with a bullet in their head cannot press down on a gas pedal.

I assume the airbag didn’t open until she hit the pole.

People don’t fall forward down onto the gas pedal, how would that even happen?

They would slump over but their bodies wouldn’t end up laying across the gas pedal, that’s such a weird idea.
