Then it was this guy from Wisconsin. Until it wasn’t, and they let him go.

Obviously, they’re urgently looking for a POC to blame this on so they can close the case.

I really hate how in the aftermath of these events everyone hopes its someone from the oter side, someone assosiated with thier politucal oponent, who did it. But our oponents 100% hope its a trans person. Trans trumps brown or muslim these days.

It doesn't who you hope did it, it's who actually did it, a tragedy upon a tragedy that this country has enough of these horrors that there are statistics on who is doing them.

Agreed. And it’s getting so bad that I fear people won’t even mourn the victims if they are from the “wrong” party.

Our elected officials have a vested interest in dividing shooters and victims into political parties; if they can point fingers to the other side, it keeps the heat off the legislators to actually pass laws to prevent this from happening.

Local cops blame FBI...

Q: What exactly was the evidence that led you to this person of interest?

A: There was a tip that came in just like we were taking any other tips and that one came in specifically identifying a person of interest, which was this individual. And so we are detectives, just like the others, but this specific one it was actually picked up by the, by the FBI, and they followed through with it, and they ended up coming and locating this individual of interest.

...

And this of course gave actual killer hours to flee! And threw a wet blanket on any accurate tips!

Yes I’m sure you could do better at leading the investigation. They had a tip, followed it, and it didn’t pan out. It’s not unusual and I don’t understand the internet outrage.

The fbi has been poorly run, good peple have been fired, others have been reassigned to troll the streets for immigrants instrad of investigate crimes. It’s not surprising we now have mistakes and a slow moving investigation.

100% Trump has blood on his hands. Fear-mongering about the Ivies anll year long. And Kash Patel is a moron.

They are more concerned with drumming up war in foreign soil to distract from the Epstein files than matters in our own country.

Laura Loomer is a nutcase who pulled all of that out of her behind hole.

Saturday was the sabbath, there is a whole Jewish orthodox community just up the road. If anyone wanted to shoot up as many peaceful unarmed Jewish people as possible that is what would have made far more sense.

I would put more money on a personal relationship with one of the dead students, an unreturned attraction or rivalry with one of them, or a relationship with Brown the University and the engineering dept specifically. Getting back at someone or something.

And there’s a possibility that even if he was looking for someone in particular, they may not even have been there at all, and he just thought they might be.

From behind, the guy walking reminded me a lot of David Berkowitz. Soft and nerdy looking. Like you could tell me he was an engineering student and I wouldn’t say he doesn’t look like it. I once knew a guy who sat in front of me for four years in HS homeroom and he walked exactly like that. He got bullied a lot, and also ended up being an engineer.

There are just plenty of other places where you could kill a whole lot more people and this feels like a relatively specific destination.

Given the right is quick to make up stories about people of color or muslim terrorists being at the head of every gun shooting, only to discover it is usually a white angry guy with a gun will do that.

Face it, someone went in and shot up a "liberal elite college" study session on the eve of semester finals. Who is most likely to do that?

^ someone who didn't want to take their finals??

The right always says it’s a trans person, not that the suspect is a POC.

Criminals are getting smarter so it’s taking a little longer to get these people. It took days to get both Charlie Kirk’s killer and Luigi Mangione. The DC pipe bomber took years.

Eric Rudolph--at least eight years (Atlanta Olympics park) and, remember, Richard Jewell was blamed for some time. Meanwhile, Rudolph set bombs in multiple places for several years.

The Unibomber--his brother read his manifesto and recognized parts of it and turned him in. Really smart guy.

+1 The fact that he chose one class and then left the campus supports your point.

Don't worry everyone. Kash Patel is on the case.

You can't recognize this as a "non-answer" answer?

Go watch the pressers. The local law enforcement seems like keystone cops. FBI may have screwed up, but plenty of blame to go around.
