Nothing about bathrooms. Sorry, bigots. Maybe time to move on to a new campaign tactic. Leave our kids alone.

This could fall under education for some

Obviously the bathrooms issue isn’t going to be a top issue for the majority of people, including those who believe that bathrooms should be separated by sex. I don’t think biological males should be able to enter female bathrooms for example. However that’s the least of my concerns. I care about the issues you mentioned far more and fall on the liberal end of the spectrum of these debates specifically when it comes to immigration and female reproductive rights.

Do you think it would be a bigger concern for you if you had a daughter who was a competitive athlete who came in second place to a trans girl?

I am a former D1 athlete myself and have two athletic daughters who have transgender friends. They fully support their friends participating in sports.

IMO, sports are more about participation than winning since you never know who you'll be competing against. Even cisgender competitors can be mismatched. Focus on the PRs and growth more than the W.

If anyone's panties are in a bunch, we could do the CA approach of extra medals if there are any overlaps.

You do realize that your ability to brag about being a D1 athlete only exists due to TitleIX provisions for sex-segregated sports right?

I don't think you understand title IX.

Title 9 allows for sex-segregated teams. Which is the ONLY reason why the PP can now boast about being a D1 athlete.

The main door (into the larger bathroom area/sink area) is open, so teachers, etc. can monitor, if needed, to make sure kids wash their hands.

Guessing they don’t have issues like menstruating all over the toilet seat and boys getting unexpected hard ons. Sorry not to be crass but Jesus who cares about your toddlers.

I think you need help, you sound unduly obsessed with sexualizing minors.

News flash: minors can and do commit sexual assault.

PP here and my concerns about gender based bathrooms are less about fear of sexual assault. I’m more concerned about a lack of privacy for sexes based on biological differences between them; specifically, allowing teens a private space to deal with biologically male/female issues. I’m not dismissing sexual assault concerns. Also, ideally, private individual bathrooms are the holy grail but retrofitting all schools and in light of safety concerns that’s not realistic.

TitleIX exists to promote equality in sports - for all women.

Women athletes have much bigger, real issues facing them right now. Funding, facilities, etc. These issues actually impact thousands of women in sports every year.

The people who go after transgender athletes don’t really care about women athletes.
