Rumor has it that Kate Middleton has a frosty relationship with the York Princesses. Their photos in public together doesn't help.

Whenever they are at public events together, there are no photos of them hanging out, laughing or talking with each other. In fact, Kate tends to stand away from them and William or Harry always stand between Kate and the other girls. You'd think the 3 girls would stand together and gossip or something. Very odd.

What's odd are your rules about what female social interaction should look like. Women can be a lot more than these petty stereotypes.

They are blood born princesses. They have the privilege of not looking perfect all the time. Kate needed her good looks to marry up. They do not have that problem. They can leave their house in a potato sack and they will still be royals.
