I read that they were really rude to her and her sister when she was just dating William so now that they're married and Kate is in the cat bird seat, she doesn't give them the time of day. Good for her. Beatrice and Eugenie sounded like they were catty little bitches to her because of her "commoness."

I was watching the pbs documentary about the Queen's 90th birthday last night and there were many interviews with the both of them about their grandmother. They seemed fun, lively and passionately fond of their grandparents. I do not think they're awful girls; they probably do not like Kate who is a commoner and the outsider in their family.

I love all the speculation but I don't think curated pictures show anything. We do not know or get to see every aspect of their relationship.

Definitely. I can;t imagine how awful the gossip and social politics behind the scenes must be for Kate. Her marriage to William was by no means a smooth or easy occurrence. Her MIL is Camilla, with whom by all accounts she gets along quite well. Charles is aloof if not disinterred and uninvolved. These girls seem to obviously hate her. Her only refuge in this institution are William and apparently Harry. Poor girl is under a lot of stress.

Camilla has always struck me as the sane one of the bunch.

Yes, but to their credit, Kate is unusually tall for a woman, and she is also extremely thin. Anyone who is not a giraffe would look like a cow next to her, really.

I don't think they look like cows but the sneering at her constantly makes them look like petty little girls.

It took me a minute to remember who the two princesses are.

On a family level I think "oh well." Family members don't get along all the time.

Kate now outranks them. Are they bothered by that? Who's to say from a few photos.
