Trump: "Our nation stands together in solidarity with the members of Orlando’s LGBT community."

This is something I can't remember a GOP candidate saying.

Progress comes from odd places.

It's not progress. It's opportunism.

That is not progress, that is an opportunistic politician who is very happy that LGBT community suffered a loss by being mowed down by a muslim terrorist. This is a perfect situation for him and he cannot stop gloating. Imagine that muslims and gays all suffering loss in one fell sweep.

His first words were self-congratulatory. This is a sick man and he should be investigated to see if he did not engineer this massacre with his ISIS cronies. Something is going on here.

Trump is not colored in rainbow colors, he is just one big neon orange. That is not the support for LGBT community.

last week the right wing was flipping out about transgender rights, and this week, it's all solidarity.

had the shooter not been identified as an ISIS sympathizer, this tragedy would have been treated very indifferently by Trump.

Well conservatives don't shoot them anymore. They just knock 'em around a little.

Who is to say that he did not work with ISIS to get have this happen? I mean he is spewing hate for all groups in US. He is not a unifier. I think that he is conspiring with US enemies to weaken the country so that he can become president. He is a sick individual and he was so happy that this massacre happened. Who writes that he is being congratulated for being right?

I don't know. Something is going on with this man. He is in league with the enemy. He had no compassion for the victims who died.

More like "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". That's pretty much the only reason why conservatives are pro Israel.

I don't know if you intended it, but this sounds exactly like Trump's own conspiracy theories.

I bet you half of his supporters are anti-lgbt, and aren't all that bothered by so many of them dying. I think they are probably glad that this tragedy supports Trump more.

Can you explain, in detail, why the right wing was upset? Start with Constitutionality. Continue on with individual rights.

Trump is quick to say what he thinks everyone wants to hear. Clearly you aren't paying attention.

"My daughter was attacked!". That's why, nevermind that that's illegal, then or now.

You and I might wonder about Constitutionality, states and individual rights, etc., but mostly in the news, people were worried about their daughters.

I intended it, because there is no other way to reach the sheeple.

.

and just your standard boilerplate "ew, the gays," response from the right wing. The idea that LGBTQ people are all pedophiles.

He congratulated himself for the attack. That is not standing together with the victims; it is standing together with the attacker.
