2028 Girls Lacrosse

Probably, but all that means is it's just a little bit thinner at the top. The 95% of players (which includes girls in the top 10%!) will be proximate in skill and everything else. And of course, they still have 4 years to develop in high school!

Would sincerely appreciate not having another circular discussion over whether the 2028s are down or not. Definitely covered at length earlier in the thread if you are truly curious and not trolling.

There is a good discussion on the 2025 ISL and WCAC thread. Good assessment of ISL was recently posted. WCAC needs an update. Also, there is a VHSL thread that covers the VA high school seen.

Then don’t read it. Anyone can talk about anything related to 2028 lax. I will never understand people who think they can control content on here.

From my perspective, the 2028 class has good players on good teams. Unfortunately, I spend all my time on the sidelines watching the 2028s play, and am unable to make a comparison of the 2028s to various other years, both older and younger. I don’t actually think there is anyone with such ability or knowledge, and tend to regard the suggestion and being dumb and unfalsifiable.

I will never understand those who want to have the same conversations, with diminishing engagement, fewer facts, impoverished analysis, and the same hackneyed takes from the same mean-spirited and disgruntled posters. That said, you are correct, you are free to ignore the sincere request made above and knock yourself out rehashing.

But if the PP asking the question was seriously interested, he or she will get a much better discussion on it from much earlier in the thread, than from trying to do it again now. See, for example, pages 37-45 for an in-depth treatment of the question based on relevant strengths of local teams entering HS. Have a great weekend.

Not the PP. You see, you could've done without the condescending openings in both your posts. You coulda just done 2nd paragraph of your 1st post, and walked into the sunset a hero. And had a great weekebd. But no.

If I had to guess, Capital figures it had a successful recruiting history and they set their own rules. If they were having trouble getting girls recruited, then maybe more people would complain.

You’ll really find any opportunity to brag about Capital. All they asked was whether there was a roster posted anywhere.
Meanwhile, there are dozens of complainers about it. The Cap group are a special lot.

If you are not a Cap parent, how do you know there are dozens complaining about it? So full of shit.

So is there a roster somewhere out there or not? It isn’t a difficult question.

I don’t know of it is there yet, but it will be eventually posted on the IWLCA Sports Recruit website

You have to pay for sports recruits

Not if it is included in your club fees
That would mean you have to pay for it.

I think what this is more about is all of the Maryland teams in the top 50 already have their sports recruits pages up and running for their 2028’s so you can see all of their rosters. Capital seems to know what it is doing recruiting wise so not arguing it should already be done but they are the one club that does not provide this already for the freshman.

Respectfully, why would one need to see the roster of a 2028 team at this point?

Respectfully, any real club should provide the sports recruit access to a high school age player. Most showcase all star events are application based now and ask for the sports recruits pages. If Capital is afraid their players won’t look good on film and limiting access, they should reflect within and do a better job of selecting their teams.

While I agree that Capital should include Sports Recruits in their fees the bolded portion of the above is just laughable. How is this even an argument when you can see the clubs success. So strange

All the 2026/2025 capital players use sports recruits. You just have to purchase on your own. It's not paid through the club. So no one afraid of it -- troll! We all use it!
