Who does Cap Blue play? |
Saturday Aces M&d black Eagle stix Sunday Crush M@d red Coppermine That schedule is not easy especially for a first tournament. |
It is the same schedule that the rest of the A teams have. It is everyone’s first tournament. Even though it is technically a new team many of those girls have been playing together for years. Other A teams had turnover as well and added anywhere from 4-10 new players to their rosters. It is the 1st tournament for everyone. If they want to be considered a top team they need to play the top teams. |
No way does capital orange go 0-6 |
I wouldn’t say it is particularly tough in comparison to other top 10 teams. M&D red is a B team and Coppermine lost 10 girls from their roster last year. |
Which of those teams has 10 new players? |
Coppermine |
Agreed, tough to see 2 or 3 wins there, hopefully they can do that or more. Having all competitive games would be a win also. |
Who is Capital Blue beating? Best chance for a win is M&D red. I don’t see another win in that list of teams. |
Coppermine |
The Capital hate is beyond ridiculous. I’ve never seen it this bad with previous grad years. What is it with the 28 group that everyone wants to shit on both Cap teams? |
I really dont think it is everyone. I think it is one disgruntled dad. Don't let it bother you. The 28s will be just fine. |
Agreed. Not a Cap parent but there are great girls on that team who are fantastic lax players. They will be fine and then some. |
Dear 2028 parents and Mr. Disgruntled Dad ---college coaches are not exactly losing sleep over the scoreboard of wins/losses. What really gets college coaches looking at Cap Blue is those strong, speedy players who know how to think on their feet and play like a well-oiled machine. If Cap 2028 can work their way into the top 10 by the time the recruiting season rolls around, they’ll be sitting pretty! Oh, and let’s not forget about those grades—keeping them up is key to unlocking a treasure chest of options! So, parents make sure your player hit the books as hard as the field. |
I think it's a lot of things, but mostly because Cap acolytes come on to all the threads and shit on other teams. Boast about Cap in comparison, mock others for not having the same recruiting history, taunt them that they're going to lose all their best players, post Cap tryout dates 9 months ahead. If they all didn't do all that, I doubt the '28 Cap teams would be getting it as bad. Keep your chin up, it will be okay. |
