Respectfully, why would one need to see the roster of a 2028 team at this point?
Exactly! College coaches are NOT paying an ounce of attention to 2028 players. College Coaches have their own season coming up and they're finishing up with the 26s. College Coaches will be laser focused on the 2027s by summer...
Lol, college coaches 100% know who the top freshmen are in the country, and have a good handle on the top 8th graders too. Just because they can’t recruit them yet doesn’t mean that they aren’t paying attention. -A Former College Coach |

Anyone know the fees for Hero's or M&D? |
Grrrrrrrr! |
M&D is 2800. Does not include uniform. Does include Sports Recruit Plus and all the other usual stuff. |
Not for High School, much lower |
They list fees on their website by year, but looks like not updated for this year. Looks like they drop to 2300 at some point. If you're right, then in HS. Guess that makes sense cause NGLL is no longer included. |
Shout out to M&D … they could charge another $1000 per player and parents would do it for the Black team for sure. Kudos to them keeping price down. |
I’ve heard all the MD clubs are less than $2500 for HS. There may be small incidentals here and there but in general a pretty good deal. |
Fleecing parents is more of a D.C. thing. |
Lot more cheap farm fields and parks to practice on in MD vs the DC area. |
That’s good coming from a person with an inferiority complex |
I keep reading that 2028 is a down year for girls lacrosse in the DC area. Is this true? Also, which schools (both public and private) look like they will have the strongest teams this year? |
Public wise Battlefield has a strong group of 28’s |
Would sincerely appreciate not having another circular discussion over whether the 2028s are down or not. Definitely covered at length earlier in the thread if you are truly curious and not trolling. There is a good discussion on the 2025 ISL and WCAC thread. Good assessment of ISL was recently posted. WCAC needs an update. Also, there is a VHSL thread that covers the VA high school seen. |
