| How much do you give the teachers with their gift cards? It seems like my friends are all over one giving $25 and one giving $100 to each teacher. We have also given to the annual fund, holiday gift fund for teachers. |

| We are doing $50 to each of our daughter's kindergarten teachers. There are 2 teacher per kindergarten section. We also gave the same amount at Xmas time. |

We took up a class collection with requested $10 per child. I figured if half the parents participated that would be $100. I think we will end up closer to $200.
The holiday fund is independent and goes into a pool of money to be distributed among all teachers in the school. I typically donate $125-$150 since my older one has multiple teachers. |

| I wish our school would have the parents association collect money and distribute to all faculty and staff. That sounds like a good idea, and a bit more manageable for middle and upper school (where each student has 5 teachers to thank). |

That's just plain stupid. WHy would the teachers get in trouble for the generosity of parents? Our DCs' teachers had no issues with thr gifts. Sounds like you're petty and jealous that some parents can afford to give more generously. |
