| Madison has issues given that it's a historical site. Plus it's way at the top of the county, away from most of the students. Not sure of the acreage. |

Overlee literally just rebuilt their club house a couple of years ago and charged their members a ton of money to do so. So even if it were big enough, the push-back you would get from trying to take it by eminent domain would be huge.
The VHC parcel makes a lot of sense. Yes, it will increase traffic on Carlin Springs, which already gets Kenmore, Carlin Springs and Campbell traffic. But what other choice do we have? There are very few parcels that are big enough for a school, and this one is available. I do think Madison is under-utilized but I have spent a fair amount of time there and it's too small for a high school. It could be an elementary again, though. You could probably even redo it so that the seniors could stay. |

It would make more sense to commandeer Bishop O'Connell. Or convert Tuckahoe and the park next to it to a HS and make Reed bigger and reopen Lee Park and Madison to account for the lost ES. |

The Overlee Pool poster was probably just trolling to get people worked up.
Tuckahoe moving to Reed is worth consideration. Some of the area would go to Nottingham and some to Reed, which would also pull the Westover kids out of McK. |
