Of the many disturbing things about this Epstein case is the fact that Clinton had secret service protection during that time. Are we to believe that the secret service who is essentially law enforcement, did not know and cover this up????? Did Clinton just give these guys the week off each time he visited the island? Seriously doubt it. It’s really depressing to think about how many were involved at multiple levels.

The petition requires a House vote? Can’t Johnson still refuse to schedule it? Who would hold him accountable?

Not just SS, but pretty much every intelligence agency in the western world had to know about this. It’s pretty safe to say at least some of them are in on it, and that’s probably why we’ll never see the files.

Is it a vote? I’ve seen “vote” and I’ve seen “signature” when referring to Griljava being the final one needed to approve the petition. If it’s a vote, then couldn’t a few decide to change their vote?

Discharge petitions go around the Speaker and require a vote but I don't know how the scheduling would work.

It would then need a Senate vote, assuming it passes, and then a Presidential signature or veto. If they drag it out long enough it could be pocket vetoed

Johnson already said he would not try to block the vote so it’s happening. I don’t know how these house members think they will hold on to their seats if they vote against this.

I’m a Dem but I’m not delusional. No way Clinton wasn’t involved. Secret Service was complicit in this mess.
