Exactly. Thanks for posting. You beat me to it.

One Sussex supporter agreeing with another Sussex booster? Yes, extremely relevant.

And he wrote a book about them with their input…

Shhh, don’t interrupt their fantasies.

Anne Boleyn would never be a Meghan Markle fan. Anne knew enough to shoot for the king, not some 2nd rate duke.

I love the statute of their mother. It's beautiful, poignant, and perfect for modern times.

Seeing it like this - I don't think they could have picked a more perfect design. Its welcoming to crowds of people from all backgrounds who will be coming to see the statue, doesn't focus on the 'boys' when they're grown men now (and one of them will be staring at that statue in their backyard everyday), and it just got a presence about it that is open.

They made a great design choice - shows when they work together the results are stunning.

It's not on Amazon's list of best children's books but it is still on NY Times. To see stacks in discount stores already does not bode well, 3 weeks after release.

Isn't it a little strange how people were clamoring for this book to fail even before it was released?

The statue is awful. She looks hard and masculine. None of the kindness and softness for which she is best remembered. The “little girl” looks like a short adult woman. The sculptor is a better sculptor than I am but certainly not adequately skilled for the task at hand.

Agree, not the best sculpture, but perhaps it'll get better with age.

Its an outdoor statue meant to weather over decades, even centuries, with age. Just like dozens of bronze statues across London.

I totally agree-she looks masculine. Diana is turning over in her grave back and forth and over and over between the media coverage of Harry and Megan, the statue, the bullshit.

She's been dead for 24 years. This maudlin continuing grief about a woman who had everything but threw it away with both hands is beyond annoying. I used to feel sorry for her but now I understand why Prince Charles wanted to divorce her. Iam also sick of Harry and hidvgrirf.

I don't think any of you realize that the statue is meant to have great sightlines from close-up and far away. The designer seems to have a brilliant use of spatial recognition - you can see how easy it would be from crowds to gather from both the side and the front at different angles to get great pictures.

I feel like a superhero cape should be added to the top picture maybe a halo. She was just a human being.

Yeah I get it. It is still crap. Compare it to the George Floyd statue. Down with nuance and feeling. This is a monstrosity!
