Hmmm...so because she is a "strong" woman, she needs to be a lesbian? I don't get this. |
| Or, why can't she be happily single? |
+1 Why do we need every Disney character to be coupled? |
|
Stupid. The target audience needs to be shown that happiness comes from within, not who you pair up with. |
| I hope they are planning to show all the action -would be hot. I wonder what elsa is like under that costume |
|
And the whole reason I loved the message of the movie...true love was THE SIBLING!
Leave it at that!! |
|
This won't happen.
Elsa will be a spinster, and that's okay. |
Yeah, the real love in the story was the love between siblings, but familial love and romantic love are not mutually exclusive. Anna was willing to give her life for her sister, but that doesn't mean that she can't love Kristoff. |
WHY does everything has to be gay now??
|
just to push boundaries - now some are clamoring for Captain America to have a boyfriend http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/05/25/give-captain-america-a-boyfriend-the-campaigns-to-make-disney-s-big-franchises-more-gay-friendly.html I guess the movement we'll get is for Bugs Bunny to be trans |
x gazillion |
Hey hey, no "S" word here. I think she should be single and fabulous. I love her that way. |
|
When Frozen came out, there were a lot of people who felt that Elsa's struggle with her powers was an analogy for the struggle that many have with their sexuality. Being told that something you cannot change is wrong and dangerous? Check. Being afraid that if people find out, you will be ostracized and possibly harmed? Check.
"Everything" is not gay now. There are still plenty of straight people in the world and stories about them. As for Captain America and Bucky Barnes, they seemed pretty much like boyfriends to me, minus the sex. If MCU wants to spell it out, that's fine with me, though I think leaving it implied a la Dumbledore is also fine, in both cases. |
You can probably already find a version of this on the interwebs if you try. |
The original story they planned was darker. Then the Lopezes wrote Let It Go, and they changed the whole direction of the story. John Lasseter supported the change because he thought it would resonate with his son, who has (if I recall correctly) diabetes and felt ostracized because of it. |
