Only turnouts have been younger kids hoping to get to play up on 06 and next seasons 07 team. As metro is known for it's encouragement of playing up multiple age groups for kids.

About 20 or so showed up, half of those were U12 & U11 from various clubs. Pretty sure the rest were older, but went to different field.

Sounds about right. Interested to see how they use their training sessions for the ID sessions as the year goes on for the older age groups. And how many come out.

Metro is not a club, that draws many players in. Some partner clubs come out for ID sessions, however it's not the kind of club that will be drawing a massive amount of players from any top level teams.

Has Metro had some interest from true 06 girls-either from GF or elsewhere? Like the location in Tysons for DD.

That's very sad to hear. I hope they change that reputation. That's a club breaker. They will never be competitive and never get any top talent that way.

2006 has seen plenty of at age players from partner clubs and several outsiders. Not sure who is posting about this play up business for next year, but that isn't correct

Great! That's a relief, and I'm glad you corrected it. It should be the exception. Maybe an occasional kid, but not a routine thing we see on all the teams. And to be honest, I don't believe in this 2+ year business either. Makes no sense at all

It should be able to be corrected. Only one team at MU has more than 1 play up. MU has multiple play ups on the youngest team and FCV has the same issue. It seems like these clubs can correct it as the teams age up.

I don’t know if all of the girls that attend the session last night will join MU, but there were many talented players.

How have 06 ID session gone? Have there been any kids from ECNL clubs-they would be the only kids who could ID right now since they have to wait to ID until May for other ECNL clubs.
