PP is right. With the exception of Healy Lawn (which becomes a muddy mess when it rains), the Georgetown campus is largely paved over with buildings and dorms that are poorly maintained. The campus is ugly. |
Sure don't! I mean, it's a really small campus. It should look much, much better. Don't they have any money to spend on that? |
| Elon. Lovely brick buildings surrounded by fountains and gardens |
| High Point |
| Cambridge University |
We thought the same thing during a visit. I was really disappointed...not what I was expecting at all. DS crossed it off his list. |
| Yale, Princeton, Indiana University, Colorado, Richmond, Washington U, University of Washington, West Point, William and Mary, Wellesley, Mount Holyoke, Scripps, Vassar, Bryn Mawr |
| Cornell |
This is a good list |
Indeed a good list. I would add Penn. |
Interesting. I agree that the campus is not great. But it's four years and so exceptional in other ways, that I can't see crossing it off over some ugly buildings. Honestly, the compactness of the campus is pretty nice, too. |
| Wisconsin especially in the fall |
| Almost all of them that have residential campuses. The city ones don't have much to write home about. |
| Stanford and Duke seem to be mentioned less often than in the past. |
I'd also add Northwestern and Pepperdine. |
