Hi America,
America you had a good time while it lasted. Now you have small minded cult 45 members who cares not about You but about their cult leader and about the defeat of Fellow American Democrats. Country be damned. The cult 45 members don’t care about their leader being a liar, conman, fraud, destroyer of democratic institutions, lacks basic human decency or even a traitor if he could make money. So long my dear America. These fake patriots have finally blown you to pieces. You have debt as big as the gdp. So hope the cult 45 fake patriots will one day give way to a diverse and renewed America. Just hang in there America. You maybe down but we, the true patriots wont let you go down the tube. Not yet and not without a fight with the fake patriots fed on fake faux news.

Dear author of rant above,
Keep your day job. Your writing sucks. And, your message is false.

Actually, ranter, I don't care for 45. However, I'd rather have 45 than someone who wishes to change the principles on which we were founded. We were not founded on socialism. We were founded as a republic that respected individual rights and freedoms. We were founded on freedom of religion, too. And, if you go back to the initial revolt, it was over taxes. Democrats want to change that.

Have mistakes been made? Sure. Slavery was the most egregious one--but, we had a war and changed that. Many Americans gave their lives in that war. Lately, we've made some other mistakes involving wars. Some poor decisions were made. Also, a law for health care was passed against the wishes of most Americans. And some Congressmen lost their jobs as a result of that passage. Some have come to support that law--many still resent the way it was done and the results that led to a big jump in health care costs. That still needs to be worked out. Immigration is another issue that is still in turmoil. Neither Republicans or Dems have done the right thing on that issue. Many in their ivory towers think it is fine--many in communities struggling with the influx of people and children are aware that something needs to be done--and soon. It is overwhelming school systems who are working to educate all, but were not prepared for the rapid increase in kids who need so much. Eventually, it will be worked out.

Some think more government is the answer. I do not.

Thanks for your rant as a reply. So you don’t care about a conman, liar and fraud damaging America and it’s institutions. But are worried about a figment of your delusional imagination AKA socialism. BTW, asking for fair living wage or equal pay for women and minorities or better healthcare or better education IS NOT SOCIALISM. It is our rights from the elected social servant representatives. But these GOP trickle down fraudsters are beholden to the wealthy who funds their campaign and not to the people who vote for them. So they give tax cuts to the wealthy and poor healthcare and low wages to their voters. BUT the GOP makes the “poorly educated” base froth at the mouth by playing white identity politics and demagogue the immigration issues to make them fearful and vote for them against their own financial interests. How long can this charade continue ? Not for too long because Most Americans have caught up with the con job as can be seen by the GOP winning the popular vote just once (by 1 state) in over 30 years.

Now the conman liar of a president has made it much worse by driving away all minorities, educated people and women. So wake up and start delivering universal healthcare because that’s what the below 40 people want and they will get it one way or another. The rich need to pay their fair Share and it will happen because our Debt IS 100% of GDP and getting worse. This is unsustainable and tax has to go up on the rich so we could actually pay interest on debt to China. Or maybe we need to cut down SS and medicate for the Boomers because they preach self reliance and they can start living it for once. Deal?

Also, the FBI alerted both the GOP and the Dems that they were subject to hacks. Who paid attention?

Nice try cult 45 member. But no it was your dear leader who lied endlessly, Manafort lied about Kilimnik and protected the liar in chief as did Stone about Wikileaks contact.

I am sure if you replace Trump with Obama in the report , you would not say what you said. You are a Hypocrite.

Good Lord. Where do you get your data from? Mother Jones?

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/obama_and_democrats_health_care_plan-1130.html

Approval is at about 48%.

Nice try cheater, Except your data ends two years ago. Since the fraud trickle down party with conman leader tries so hard to take away Obama care it’s popularity has risen by the end of 2018.

Guess what: Trump has been taking a dump over all the principles on which we were founded.

Washington, Jefferson, and Hamilton are rolling over in their graves.

p.s. I bet you can't even correctly define socialism.
p.p.s. Repugs have have years to come up with a better plan than the ACA. Trump promised it was going to be fantastic. Well, where is that plan? Wait, what? There isn't one? Get out.

Not true. In fact Linsey Graham asked this exact same question to AG Barr in his latest hearing. It's puzzling to both the chairman and AG that FBI suspected at the time that Carter Page, George Papadopoulus and Manafort were working with Russians but they chose NOT to tell the Trump campaign about it. AG Barr testified that there were two former US attorneys working in the Trump campaign -- Rudy and Chris Christie. FBI could easily convey the message with those two. Unless FBI's goal all along was to frame American citizens and not stopping Russians.

OK, let's play a logic game here. You are the FBI and our allies abroad have captured first hand sourcing (ie on audio/video) of some of the names listed talking to Russians about the election, or they have captured Russians talking among themselves, citing some of the names above in their conversation. You are suggesting that rather than further the investigation, they should instead notify Trump that some of his people are being talked about by Russians or were talking to Russians?

That isn't how it works.

And Rudy is as dirty as it gets so I don't know why you cite him in some extolling manner. There is a reason Christie didn't join the Administration - he wasn't compromised or dirty enough.

You are not making any sense. Let's play your logic game but replace Trump with Obama.

You are the FBI and our allies abroad have captured first hand sourcing that some Obama people talking to Russians about the election. According to you, FBI shouldn't notify Obama but just carry on surveillance. That isn't how it works. Remember at that point, Trump had already clinched the nomination and was receiving classified briefings.

(AG Barr mentioned the fact there were two US attorneys working in the Trump campaign in Graham's hearing. He didn't understand why FBI can't share that information with Trump or the two US attorneys.)

And in those classified briefings that Trump was receiving, he was told about Russian interference. And he deflected and denied it was happening. Perhaps a different response would have merited a different action from the FBI, but in this case, his reaction prompted more concern. How do you not get that?

Dp. I think you are confused. FBI gave him his first briefing 8/17/16 according to an NPR article dated 8/16/16. The Veselnitskaya meeting happened before then.

The Russians attacked the election. The Trump campaign, right up to the top, thought that was awesome. They greeted it with "how can we work this" instead of "call the FBI." They lied, and lied, and lied some more.

As (Republican) Rick Wilson said: "The most striking part of the last two days is how Donald Trump and his allies are acting like losers, more aggrieved, bitchy, and petulant than ever." It's because they know. They always knew. And now it's in the open.

One attorney's take on the 10 obstruction incidents as laid out in the report

https://twitter.com/HoegLaw/status/1119359435766476804

There seems to be a consensus around 5 of them

Obstruction was an article of impeachment for both Clinton and Nixon. For Clinton, it was lying about a blowjob. This seems a tad more serious, no?

I would also add that not pursuing impeachment undermines the actions of the witnesses who came forward to tell the truth and sends a signal to future witnesses in future cases not to bother.

I think the democrats (well and the whole Congress) have a obligation to their sworn oath to uphold the US Constitution.

It isn't about politics, it is about our republic.
