Americans aren't interested in paying for Trump's wall. He specifically said Mexico would pay for it. This is a campaign promise that simply can't be fulfilled regardless of what may be built on the border. If he had mentioned that his proposed wall would be paid for via taxes, he would have never received the nomination let alone win the presidency. It's just more fraud from a lifelong huckster. |
Fine. Ask Mexico to pay for it. |
LOL. Go ahead and send your money for the stupid wall. You're hopeless. |
+1 I don't want my hard-earned tax money going towards a stupid wall that doesn't actually address the issues with illegal immigration. I would support my money going towards prosecuting employers who hire undocumented people. I'd also support programs that help Central Americans in their own country (education, birth control, trade programs, etc.). If we lift up our neighbors we are all better off. |
I think you're hopeless. You're so eager to make sure there are no obstacles in the path of illegals. And are you the idiot posting the photo of a plain wall you can climb over with a ladder? That's not the type of wall we want. Let's ask Israel how they did it - it's keeping 99% out. |
Eh. I thought you guys said we needed more Border Patrol (there aren't enough qualified people as it is), canines, etc. We need more IJs, from a realistic perspective. And we need immigration reform. Neither of those are happening. |

Trump says a shutdown will last a very long time....

Why isn't Mexico paying? |
|
We need more immigration judges, more enforcement of employers (even Rep. Devin Nunes family employs illegal immigrants!) and more border agents (vetted border agents who can pass a criminal background check and drug test) and better technology including tech that can easily detect tunnels etc.
A survey of border agents in 2017 showed when asked about specific vulnerabilities in border security only 1% identified the lack of a wall as a security shortfall and only 4% identified fencing as an area of concern in border security. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/03/22/us/politics/border-patrol-wall-immigration-trump-senate-democrats.html https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2018/10/02/just-how-politically-explosive-is-devin-nunes-secret-esquire-uncovered/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.a7b5aaf789b7 |
Well, OK sure but did they do a survey of former game show hosts? |
As a legal immigrant who jumped through hoops to be here, I can promise you I am more eager than you to stop illegal immigration. A wall will not stop it. Plain and simple. |
I have good news for you. Those are easily spotted and handled. The wall slows down the flow. There is NO doubt, though, the Mexican cartels will intensify the tunnels and NO DOUBT that they will be aided by leftists in CA, AZ and TX |
You know these countries already receive aid, right? What are they doing with it now, hmmm? |
| Liberals have resorted to memes. LOL |
