I think it was just an email from her lawyer?

She NEVER denied she was at the party. She said she didn't REMEMBER attending any such party. Politico's headline is misleading.

I’m they wish they did. But they don’t have time to anymore.

I think this is their only chance to get through before the midterms.

Good - this might snowball enough into getting Collins and Murkowski to vote no.

Is it possible that Flake votes yes in committee and no in the general vote? or is that nearly impossible?

John Donnelly is a NO.

^^meant Joe Donnelly.

Coons: Not recalling/remembering is not the same as refuting.

Lawyers like Kavanaugh and Cruz should know the difference, but they intentionally lie about it. Assholes

same as everything the last 9 years.

Donnelly is a Dem, not a surprise.

He could've said, "Those yearbook entries...I wanted people to think I was cool. I was 17 and it was immature to put those quotes in my yearbook. I realize how it looks, but that's not the kind of person I was then. I think my reputation as an adult and as a judge is more reflective of who I am than how I acted in high school."

Had he said those things, he could've seemed relatable, humble, professional and respectable. But he didn't say anything close to that. Instead, he went off on partisan rant, got defensive, was evasive in answering questions and confirmed for a lot people that he seems exactly like the type of person who could sexually assault a girl.

Exactly

Instead he seems like the kind of guy who will lie and lie and lie about everything. I think he's lying about EVERYTHING.

Ford and Kav's lives will be upside down from this point onward, regardless of where they are working or living. Same for their kids' lives. Total mess. And I blame Feinstein - bad timing, bad move.

You’ve really elevated the discussion, thanks.

Line of questioning by Mitchell on July 1 calendar entry was abruptly stopped by R senators and she was never allowed to speak again.

But he voted for Gorsuch. That lends more credence to his stance.

i guess you can't read. if you could, you would have seen that Donnelly voted yes on Gorsuch.

Why did Coons state that Leland K. acknowledged Ford's allegations? The complete opposite is in fact the truth.
