His identity was know. He didn't come as a refugee. He was also vetted under Trump before being granted asylum.

People that don’t understand crime statistics don’t understand that occupation leads to a short term decrease in crime and a long-term increase in extremely violent crime.

All they’ve done is put these communities in a situation where in two years they are going to see an unbelievable uptake in crime

Long term is a better question. I am ok with NG staying in Memphis as long as it takes, though. We don’t have to just live with sky high murder rates forever. We can do things.

I actually have firsthand experience with the effect of troops on local crime rates because I lived in a dictatorship under martial law. There was very little visible crime. But eventually, when martial law was lifted, crime rates started going up again.

He didn’t have TPS, he was granted asylum which comes with a path to permanent citizenship.

That is such a ridiculous concept and widely abused now. It must be stopped.

In this instance, it was a promise made by the US government to our allies in Afghanistan. So no, in this instance, it should not be stopped. These are people who acted as spies for the US military and fixers on the ground, risking their lives for their freedom.

Those Afghans risked their lives to keep our troops safe and we broke our promise to protect them in return.

This whole thing is a tragedy and our government is the cause. From setting up the NG as pawns to betraying Afghan allies.

If that guy got sent back, he'd be executed, his wife would be rapped, and his children abused. We treated them as disposable.
