The BlueAnon set are really going crazy with this one.

To be fair to BlueAnons, there some smoke here, and we have a long history of cover ups in this country. Its so crazy most people don't even think about the Route 91 shooting any more, when there was so many fishy details and unanswered questions.

What smoke?

Did you miss the whole CIA connection bit?

Trump has aligned himself with the worst leaders in the world, including MBS, Putin, Orban etc.

The radical left, just like Antifa is just BS buzzwords adopted by infuencers starting with Rush Limbaugh to poison American brains.

The left in the US are not aligned with Al Qaeda or the Taliban (who Trump invited to Camp David) and so on. Just stop with the nonsense.

So did Obama, Bernie, Clinton, Dubya, etc. Fail to see the point. Heck, Bernie even used to hot-tub with Putin in Russia when he was younger didnt he?

Bernie is the other side of the horseshoe and just as compromised as Trump. that is why he disrupted democratic party primaries.

The others were just being presidents trying to conduct diplomacy. If you think trump is the same, why is he trying to help Russia with respect to Ukraine?

I think you mean had the Afghan not assassinated her, she’d still be alive.

I think you mean if the US had not invaded Afghanistan, which caused Afghanis to have to escape to the US, she would still be alive.

True. Perpetual wars of the deepstate swampers.

Glad we finally have an anti-war president.

Trump has started a war with iran.
He is trying to start a war with Veneuzeula
He is bombing civilians in the carribean.

He is not an anti-war president. But keep watching Fox.

But what is that smoke of, exactly? Of course every Afghani admitted through this program is going to have a connection to our military or intelligence agencies.

If Trump hadn't rescinded his and his family's legal status, he would not have been so desperate. Trump's actions have horrible consequences.

I thought he was granted asylum and in the process of getting a green card? That’s what BBC is reporting.

In May, USCIS revoked Temporary Protected Status for Afghanistan:

3 days ago, it was reported that USCIS was reopening all previously approved asylum applicants:

You say asylum but the article talks about refugees.

He didn’t have TPS, he was granted asylum which comes with a path to permanent citizenship.

That is such a ridiculous concept and widely abused now. It must be stopped.

In this instance, it was a promise made by the US government to our allies in Afghanistan. So no, in this instance, it should not be stopped. These are people who acted as spies for the US military and fixers on the ground, risking their lives for their freedom.

Now, this might seem like conspiracy theory territory, but is there anything that’s beyond this administration?

Don't most know the answer? The question from page 2 of this thread has been "was this planned?"

Magic 8 Ball says "smells like deepstate swamp".

And by deepstate you mean Trump's MAGA deepstate now entrenched in the FBI etc. Because the left had absolutely nothing to gain from this.

Yeah, nothing suspicious about 2 recently assigned national guardsmen being shot by a former CIA operative who drove all the way across the country to attack them in one of the safest areas of DC. And who probably doesn't want to go back to Afghanistan anytime soon. And who was declared a "fugitive" even when he was in the hospital.

The GOP must think we are all as stupid as their voters.

I feel so sorry for their families, these two young people should have been home in West Virginia.

Should have been home eating turkey and stuffing and watching football, but Trump decided that their lives weren’t worth much.

Did you mean to say the Afghan decided their lives weren't worth much?

Reminder: Trump and Pompeo went behind everyones' backs and sold Afghanistan out to the Taliban.

That was a huge betrayal to many Afghans who had fought alongside our own troops to try and rid Afghanistan of Islamist extremists. We tried to do right by them by evacuating some to America, but Trump is now betraying them again.

What happened is horrific and inexcusible but there's certainly a glaring motive right there. I could see how multiple betrayals, coupled with wartime PTSD could make someone snap.

Keep America out of the middle east entirely.

Not our problems.

Which is why the left invests in renewable energy, so there is less global reliance on middle eastern oil. Why does the GOP oppose that? Why is MAGA dismatling renewable installations that were in the verge of going live, wasting billions of dollars?

True. And if Trump hadn’t placed NG in DC serving no actual purpose - just for his propaganda footage - she wouldn’t have been killed. The shooter is responsible but so is Trump and his series of horrible, selfish actions.

It would be better if that were accurate but instead of investing in renewable energy democrats used legislation that claimed to be trying to do that to line their own pockets. See, eg, $2B given to Stacey Abrams.

Those Afghans risked their lives to keep our troops safe and we broke our promise to protect them in return.

This whole thing is a tragedy and our government is the cause. From setting up the NG as pawns to betraying Afghan allies.

If that guy got sent back, he'd be executed, his wife would be rapped, and his children abused. We treated them as disposable.

Actually NG has accomplished a lot to reduce crime. Memphis is a better example than DC, but it’s just not true that they haven’t accomplished anything.

The Biden-Harris admin claimed that they were importing Afghans as refugees who helped the U.S. gov’t, when in reality, officials admit in documents obtained from litigation that they did not know their identities. Some have allegedly committed heinous crimes:

Afghanistan sounds like a horrible place to live.
