The Politico amount was over 8 years and for subscriptions across the whole agency. Like you know how you might pay for the Wall Street Journal or Thompson/ Reuters? Like that. Stop trying to misinform people.

I don’t care. NOT an appropriate use of taxpayer money. They can buy their own subscriptions.

And, nearly half a million for 37 subscriptions?

Yes it is. Have you ever had a job before?

Yes. And I paid for my own subscriptions and memberships to professional organizations. Taxpayers should NOT be footing the bill.

SIX Million to fund tourism in Egypt?????

Shut down this sh!t.

That kind of spending is good value though. The Egyptians are very weak and dependent on US aid. It will be easy to coerce them when they decline to take some of the contents of Gaza.

All I see is a light blue line. It’s very pretty. What should I make of it?

It's not a great website but I wouldn't call it inoperative. Better than some I've seen lately.

The National Association of Evangelicals — not exactly a leftist hotbed — describes as “devastating news” State’s halt to refugee support and says the demolishment of USAID has cut “critical foreign aid funding”

I guess the base has outlived its usefulness.
