Is it just the angle or is she starvation level.thin? Disturbing.

Not just you. She's been that way for years too. It's scary

I hope she didn’t pay anything for that outfit.

Yeah, this is awful.

Starvation level thin. It's been going on for awhile. I know I am being judgemental, but she's 57. It's not possible for her to look 25 anymore and she should stop trying.

I think she looks even thinner than usual.

Is she wearing Skechers? I sort of love that.

I love her look. Looks comfortable and is flattering too.

Which actress are you talking about here? At first I thought Ariana but she’s not 57.

And I can’t go back and find the Kiera K pic, I’ve always been in awe of how gossamer she appears, when did she get buff and …masculine-ish? I hardly recognized her. It’s beyond “Well she’s older,” it looks like her whole body type changed.

Beautiful! And seems accessible for a normal person.

Yes! It's what I'm enjoying about so many of these looks actually. They are gorgeous dresses (mostly) and hair and stuff - but it doesn't look, by and large, like stuff that an ordinary person could never even dream of wearing. I really miss that era of red carpet dressing - where the slebs wore dresses that were really pretty versions of stuff you might see at an actual store.

I'm guessing the word "slebs" was voice-to-text, but I love it and will use it forever more.

it's from the boards, back in the day!

Anonymous wrote:Ugh not loving Kerry Washington in this Balenciaga or Cate Blanchett in LV

At the 2025 Golden Globes, Cate Blanchett took her custom gold sequin Louis Vuitton gown, which she first wore at the Cannes Film Festival in May, for another spin.

The gilded cape-style number was hand-embroidered with gold microglass tube and boasted a floor-grazing train.

She has started doing this a lot in recent years -- rewearing red carpet dresses or repurposing old things from her closet. I appreciate it. People need to understand that being stylish does NOT mean buying a new wardrobe every year or never repeating an outfit you've been photographed in. I love the movement towards more sustainable fashion and encouraging people to slowly build smaller, higher quality wardrobes instead of loading up on disposable fast fashion.

It’s classy.

I think this poster means Nicole Kidman. I'm sure she eats little/well/works out a ton, but it's also her built. I could eat 200 cal a day and never look like this. Fwiw in Babygirl she looks amazing naked, and not emaciated. The movie even nods at all this by having her eat just a couple strawberries for breakfast and drink coffee all day.

+1

I really don’t think he’s at all misogynistic. If you’ve seen his show. He seems like a really nice guy. But I think this look is just jarring. I think in the past he’s sometimes done blazers with skirts. I understand he’s trying to challenge our preconceived notions of what is athletically pleasing, but it’s just not working here I think.

I have to say, the dress is flattering and fits him well. He looks good in it though it's not really my thing.

Nicole Kidman. I don't think she's coping well with getting older

I love her! Third act, triumph.

I think she's finally moved past all the Aston Kutcher stuff as his reputation has taken a hit. Good for her.

He’s a man trying to appropriate being a woman. It’s unacceptable.

This may be my fave look of the night. This picture doesn't do it justice.

Gorgeous color and Z looks amazing

another view

She looks like a movie star. Like what I imagine when I think of a movie star. I don't need every actress to look like this but I love that we have Zendaya out there doing this. I am just grateful to have this little slice of glamour in my life. It's what Hollywood was invented for.

She does. She's incredibly beautiful.
