Every man with a wife and/or daughter should be worried for them if they love them.

+2. My daughter’s life could be threatened by these laws. Of course it’s my top voting issue.

Well the top voting issue for most people is the economy and Trumps economy was better than Bidens. I miss the days when 100 dollars meant a trunk full of groceries not just 2 bags

The horse is out of the barn. The laws are passed and SCOTUS has said it’s done.

Asking as a Dem voter: what are the Dems going to actually do? What is the first 100 days plan, here?

Because if the whacko R’s don’t win the top job this election, they will in another cycle.

So what are the Dems actually going to do in the executive and legislative branches to protect what little we have left? I’m not even asking for them to return to Roe. I’m asking how they will govern effectively to protect what’s left, including gay marriage.

Haven’t seen an answer yet.

It all depends on how the House and Senate turn out. If the Dems sweep both, there will be an immediate effort to codify Roe.

Roe was the law of my lifetime and they never lifted a finger. Why do you think they will now?

Because the Supreme Court had settled it so they didn’t need to. And they couldn’t have without sixty votes in the Senate (which Ds have only had for like two months in 2009) or killing the filibuster, which some Ds who won’t be in the next Senate don’t support.

Same poster and I’ll ask a better way: *how* will they now? And what will they do for gay marriage and other rights that I care about?

A constitutional convention puts all of our rights as risk and is what the GOP wants, as HRC said years ago.

So how are the Dems, who have taken my money and my votes and didn’t codify Roe, going to protect what few rights that a conservative SCOTUS hasn’t gutted?

Why would anyone codify Roe when it was the law of the land? Do you not understand what “overturned” means?

Oh dear. It was “the law of the land” due to the Supreme Court but the SC isn’t guaranteed which Dems apparently failed to learn.

Republicans understand the power of legislation and Congress -a power Dems have failed to wield successfully since the late great LBJ

Trump is going to get badly beaten over this issue. His supreme court picks did what they were chosen to do and overturned roe. Now trump will pay the consequences on election day as he should.

Vote for Kamala Harris.

I am so fired up for Harris!! I have already pledged volunteer hours and donated to the campaign.

I voted for Biden because Harris was on the ticket. I've never been as excited about a candidate as I am now.

Well, I understand just fine, but apparently 40 years of party leadership did not. I also understand that past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior, and no one has yet explained how future behavior will differ from that of the past behavior of politicians I have funded and elected.

Dobbs was abhorrent. It was also the US system working as intended.

Your grocery prices have more to do with corporate greed than Biden or Trump.

The grocery prices increased due to the border crisis and war on energy from this crazy administration. A grocery truck isn’t going to run on hydro power and wind . Insane Dems want to get oil and gas cancelled and get meat cancelled as well. Cows are apparently bad for the environment so we need to eat bugs
For protein as well. They want overreach in every part of our lives for no good reason

.......Across the country, the high grocery prices have crunched budgets for essential food items. But at the same time, some of the largest food corporations are raking in profits. Experts say those profits are helping to make your groceries even more expensive.........

Look at the quarterly earnings and profits of the chain grocery stores. It’s available online. Come back and let us know what you find.

? It's not from the border crisis. What news stories are you reading?

Inflation was caused by pent up demand (due to pandemic) + stimulus money (started by Trump btw) + supply chain issues from the pandemic.

Four years after covid, we are seeing some of the issues ease.

Bet you never heard that on CNN

Joe Biden isn’t running for office. I promise we heard that on CNN.

Please get your guy out there on the trail saying he’s the pro-choice candidate.

Trump says what most Americans believe that he doesn’t like it but sometimes it’s necessary but that doing it in late trimesters or even after birth which Dems want is unacceptable . The Dems want full reproductive freedoms and abortion rights throughout all trimesters made law . Most Americans agree with Trump that’s going too far and also banning abortion or abortion pills entirely nationwide is also too far

I don’t care what you or Trump say on behalf of “most Americans”. I vote for MY daughters.

Me too. See you in Roevember!
