She's 70, so she's probably not on the trading floor, but maybe she owns a brokerage or day trades, who knows. I did find Theresa pretty disingenuous during the whole Kathy spat. But it's probably going to be Teresa.

I agree on both counts. I couldn't for the longest time figure out exactly what it is that I find so off-putting about Theresa, but I think it has something to do with being both so childlike and so manipulative. It's that she is smug and so pick-me about the telling and the telling and then the telling Gerry and all of it, and she acts like a little kid who's afraid of her own shadow.

I just can't see Leslie and Gerry together--she's the wrong "speed" as you say. Also I'm not sure what they talk about besides ATV rides and Leslie's life story. Finding a steady man is great, but you need something more to do/talk about in your daily life. Maybe we just don't see that deeper connection happening.

He should have kept Ellen.

Does anybody else have their fingers crossed for Joan coming back? The producers extended the season from 8 to 9 episodes.

I'd like to see Joan do something with the franchise again, for sure.

Joan is okay but I don't get the fascination with her over, say, Nancy or Edith.

Oh, Edith was my favorite of them all, and I liked her best myself. I just think Joan is riveting for the strangely immobile lip and sort of haughty, how-dare-you feel she gives when she looks around. It was reminiscent to me of Paris Hilton on The Simple Life farm show.

I don't know, but there is something about her frozen-lipped superiority vibe that I found really compelling, in a train wreck way. I'd watch the heck out of that on a weekly basis.

I think she'd be great as a Real Housewife, if she was married.

+1 I don't think for Golden Bachelorette though. Seems nice enough but the personality isn't there and there is no way I could look at the immobile face for an hour at a time.

Leslie would make a good Bachelorette if she doesn't win.
But I think Sandra, Susan or April would be great. All three have fun personalities.

In what way is Leslie a go-getter though? She lives in Minneapolis, is a fitness instructor (so probably PT), and presumably spends a lot of time with her family. Fitness+family-oriented seems like a very good fit with him. Yes, she dated Prince but that was a loong time ago.

Faith took herself out of the running by being so inflexible. Staying near her buried dead horse or else? Gerry is the only surviving parent for his two daughters. Rural WA is not going to work for him. I thought it was beyond selfish of her not to consider his feelings about location. Too bad because he really like her from the beginning.

God I hated Theresa’s “birthday suit” bit. Telling she did not get the first impression rose, and neither did Leslie(though he seemed more entertained by the walker bit). Faith could have had it, I think, but bad location plus obstinance is a dealbreaker imo.

April is delusional. She's too plastic looking, quirky, and obviously desperate for attention to be a lead in anything. Gerry clearly thought she was a nut, and was probably pressured by producers to keep her around longer than he otherwise would have. Shame that Susan isn't conventionally good looking enough, because she has the best personality of the ladies by far. Nancy never registered with me and Kathy is so abrasive. I'm not sure I can see any of these ladies as the Golden Bachelorette, honestly, except maybe Edith. If not her, I'd prefer they start fresh. No-one really inspires that "America is rooting for you" vibe, I don't think.
