Washington Post article about Former Farquhar Administrator

Yes! The first group to be offered mental health services were the friends and promoters of the abuser! Why weren’t they being interviewed by attorneys instead? Getting their laptops searched? Come on!

When elected members of the county school board reviewed materials submitted to approve Beidleman’s appointment as Paint Branch principal earlier this year, no complaints about him were mentioned, member Lynne Harris (At Large) said. She did not recall reading an email sent anonymously on May 3, 2022, by a Farquhar teacher to the board that alleged Beidleman sexually harassed and emotionally abused staff. She looked through her inbox to try to find it but could not, she said. She said the goal for the school board is to “move forward with transparency” and “get the full story.”

“I want to know what happened — who said what, when, where, how. What was the response after that?” Harris said. “That’s what Jackson Lewis is supposed to do for us.”

Contrast this with her saying, ENTHUSIASTICALLY, that she supported Beidleman's appointment as PBHS principal:

Why is Harris "very proudly" supporting his appointment in one breath and completely in the dark about YEARS of accusations of bad behavior? Even IF that is true, she should be SEETHING at McKnight who definitely did know and set her and other board members up to look like complete fools.

Second poster here about SMPotatoes...just look at his pinned tweet. He's been an embarrassment to this community for a long time and he's backed by total morons. Typical MoCo.

The imbecile that refused to take parental responsibility? We all know him well. He is for sure a moron. No one takes him seriously unless you're somehow still in the Reopen crowd. (The rest of us have moved on...I'm sorry thats the only way you make PhD money)

Just to clarify, both the superintendent and the Board of Education knew. I hope everybody remembers this when it’s time to vote.

According to McKnight’s email to Farquhar these allegations “just came to light”. What a liar!

Yup! Liar, LIAR, pants on FIRE!!!! 🔥🔥🔥

Saw this in the Post article from today: "Later, as McKnight discussed other, more positive topics, the attendees said she told the crowd to stand up if they were “MCPS proud.” With her encouragement, crowd members clapped and many chanted “MCPS proud! MCPS proud!” for about 30 seconds.

One administrator who was present, speaking on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to comment, said via text that some attendees got up “so we didn’t stand out.” He said “many” in attendance “want to see change occur in the appropriate way, not from cover ups and protecting and promoting. MCPS has a reputation of its leaders ‘failing up’ and this situation with Beidleman is just the most blatant example.”

She's doing everything she can to redirect attention and make this go way. No way they should buy it. In sports, it's said that once you lose the locker room, you've lost the job. McKnight has not only lost the locker room, she's lost the entire franchise.

Where do you think Beidleman’s toxic positivity came from? I see it even in my child’s ES principal. MCPS is training administrators to not be accountable, talk like used car salesmen, and cover their tracks by never putting anything in writing.

The video speaks for itself. Lynne Harris “proudly” voted for this monster. Are you alleging that this video is not real or is doctored in some way? If not, it’s irrelevant what you think about the poster. Who cares what he did or said years ago. He posted a video and let it speak for itself. Stop deflecting.

Daaaang. She's done, and everyone else in a leadership position who knew and kept their mouth shut.

I don't think she's done. McKnight would not be behaving the way she's behaving if she thought her goose was cooked.

The law firm they hired is likely an ally and they might release a few details that confirm "steps were missed," but ultimately, there'll be no smoking gun and Monifa will cheerily insist MCPS will "do better next time."

McKnight has been around the block for a long time and she seems confident that this too shall pass.

When that happens, MCPS parents and staff will fight back. To many people, this is the last straw.

Evan Glass is calling for the Education Committee to hold a hearing in the fall for "additional oversight and transparency"

In the email to Farquhar, McKnight said to report allegations to Safe Schools. However; we see how well that worked out last time Farquhar staff did that! I hope people flood the phone lines and website with bullying and harassment allegations from all over MCPS so somebody somewhere can pay attention to how big this problem really is.
