According to this, Tony Oronato’s actions that day are of great interest to the committee. And Pence knew not to trust certain agents that day.

It’s very strange for a USS member to become political staff also.

You guys are missing the point of this posters link and comment (thank you 6:02) I’ll add— in addition to mounting evidence, it’s clear that an inside job was at work well before Jan 6.

From the above linked article:
Tim Giebels, Pence’s lead special agent in charge of his protective detail advised him of the plan to keep him away from the Capitol. Keith Kellogg, Pence’s national security adviser, confirmed that was the plan.

Pence: “I’m not getting in the car, Tim. I trust you, Tim, but you’re not driving the car. If I get in that vehicle, you guys are taking off. I’m not getting in the car.”

Tony Ornato, who oversaw Secret Service movements and was allgedly operating as Trump’s special political advisor, told Kellog they were planning to move the vice president to Joint Base Andrews.

Kellog: “You can’t do that, Tony. Leave him where he’s at. He’s got a job to do. I know you guys too well. You’ll fly him to Alaska if you have a chance. Don’t do it. He’s going to stay there. If he has to wait there all night, he’s going to do it.” Tony Ornato denies this conversation happened.

Very important to note: Senator Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), was president pro tempore on January 6, 2021, meaning he can/would take on Pences’s duty. On January 5th, Grassley said that he would preside over the Senate’s Jan. 6 session because he didn’t expect Pence to be there. How could he possibly know that Pence wouldn’t be there?

Ornato also denies that he told Hutchinson about Trump’s physical altercation with Bobby Engel. Roll the tape: After Trump’s speech at the Ellipse. Hutchinson testifies that she went back to the Chief of Staff’s office. Ornato was in the hall and waved Hutchinson into his office directly across from her office. Bobby Engel was in Ornato’s office.

Hutchinson states under oath that Ornato asked her: “Did you hear what fking happened in the beast (SUV)” and proceeded to tell her.
Trump screaming: “I’m the fcking president. Take me up to the Capitol now.” He reached up toward the front of the vehicle to grab at the steering wheel. Engel grabbed Trump’s arm and said: “Sir, you need to take your hand off the steering wheel. We’re going back to the West Wing.” Trump then lunged at Engel.

Remember, Bobby Engel was there, while Ornato recounted the beast details. Engel did not confirm or deny. He also previously testified to the committee a watered down version of a disagreement between himself and Trump when they rerouted back to West Wing.

There’s so much more speculation and evidence of insider crimes. The list of pardon requests ironically had to go through Hutchinson lol. She provided a partial list in her testimony. Don’t sleep on Cassidy folks. Maybe they hired her for her pretty face, but she’s their ticket to hell.

18 U.S. Code § 2383
Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

I am the one who posted that article. Thank you for expounding on it. Please note the article was written in April. The committee is on to Ornato.

The point about Grassley is absolutely insane.

Actually, the article says, "This [Grassley's comment] caused a kerfuffle at the time — in large part because some thought he had referred to the joint session Pence was due to preside over. Some on social media wagered that it showed Pence’s removal was the plan all along, and Grassley had let it slip. But Grassley’s actual comments referred to a Senate session, and indeed the two chambers were due to meet separately to consider objections to a state’s election results."

She was part of the inner circle MAGA, a$$hats. She's only being attacked now b/c you don't like what she has to say.

+1. Here is a woman who worked like 30 feet from the Trump Oval Office being questioned by a wildly conservative Republican Representative who happens to be the daughter of one of the most rock-ribbed conservative Republicans of the 20th century. And the reaction of the Trump cultists is to call them a couple of liberals.

+2.

+2 Like I said, perverse Sword of Gryffindor. You list facts and they will ignore them.

Some Us politicians and certainly this “trial” are about story time. Not action or the law or facts. Stories.

So fun. Just story after story after story. And let the politicians ir paid lawyers tell you what to decide about whose story.

It’s so fun. And such a good use of time and resources.

They are telling the true story of how our democracy was attacked.
No better use of resources.

Too bad for you that the story of January 6 is all captured on video for all to see.

It’s a Congressional Hearing, PP. It’s a big deal whether you believe it or not.

The ratings of these hearings are deplorable. The vast majority of the country has moved on. This grandstanding non both sides is wasting time and money. The country has moved on and is worried about inflation, crumbling infrastructure, and high gas prices. They really do not care as much as the small minority of posters here seem to think they do or should.

Completely false. Millions are watching. Millions want accountability.

MILLIONS are not watching. The ratings do not reflect.

They are watching. They are watching streaming which isn’t recorded by the ratings.

For every 1 person watching tv I know 20 who watch later via streaming.

All the people I know, myself included, watched it streaming.

Trump lied about his inauguration numbers. What else is he lying about?

I think the best part of all of this is that the testimony pretty clearly establishes a co-conspiracy. If anyone is sitting on a pardon, it’s worth less than TP now.

Everything afterward. And a lot of the stuff prior.

I don’t know. Pretty weak sauce coming from trumpkins.

What has made these hearings so effective is that almost all the testimony has been from Republicans who support trump! They just won’t undertake illegal activity. That’s actually a low bar.

And at the end of the day it has become clear that this was a conspiracy (which giuliani understands better than most) and that trump was well aware of everything that was going on. As you would expect potus to be.

Devastating as yesterday’s testimony was about the attempted coup, I was really struck by how weak mark meadows is. Sitting there with his head stuck in a phone. What a wimp.
