No worries, if you have enough money you can simply buy a child from a desperate peasant woman! Human trafficking and baby stealing under the guise of “surrogacy” and “adoption.” |
Do you actually know any single and childless women over 40? Because I do, and they're doing fine. |
Brunch Granny! Her delusional posts are always hilarious. ![]() |
Women increasingly understand they've been scammed. Once you have kids, you are expected to work an exhausting job AND do all the childrearing/home tasks that women have always done. It sucks, and they've watched their moms be exhausted and burned out. Meanwhile, men are allowed to be in a state of perpetual video game-playing adolescence. It's perfectly logical for women to say 'no thanks' |
This is a real woman, can not find in USA!

I love that you are just writing fan fiction about my grandmother with no idea of actual facts to fit your bizarre narrative. |
Sure they are. They love coming back to their empty and lonely apartment or home on a daily basis, no partner to do anything with or take trips with, no children to brighten and liven up their life. Just an endless supply of designer clothes and shoes to wear for girls nights. |
The ones I know are doing fine too, though the ones that seem to truly be thriving are the DINKs. What a set up that is. |
+1 I am in my late 60's and regularly attend clubs and exercise activities with retired seniors. The ones without children are doing great. Why? Because they are out and keeping themselves busy just like they always did. Several head up civic organizations (think VFW . . . women veterans for example are running those places). In fact they are the most extroverted people in the groups! Don't worry about them. Many have nieces, nephews and so on. Those people have a big role to play in families. Also someone on here said that being a mom is "the most important job". Well, what about the teachers, nurses, doctors who nurture all of us? Aren't those important jobs in society??? Last thing is that I am a mom. I relate to the people talking about the slog of staying at home. I would have gone out of my mind if I hadn't gotten a job. Some jobs are just way more interesting than raising a kid. Sorry, but it was true for me. I needed to be out with adults for my own mental health. Having children is not for everyone. Man or woman. |
So... no. You don't know what single women in their 40s are like. I'm a married woman with kids, my sister is single and in her 40s (she never wanted kids). She doesn't own designer shoes. You understand Sex and rhe City is fiction, right? |
What about dads? |
If society wants women to have babies, they , the society and government need to make it easier and more affordable. Otherwise no babies for you. |
Just as I thought. You don't know any. I know dozens of them and they don't wear designer clothes or do "girls nights". They certainly travel though! |
Have you read the Relationship forum? Everybody in there would kill to have a house to themselves. |
This take is a figment of your limited imagination. |
