| I know others disagree, but I don't love the last season. And all the suspense for the finale centers around Peter's trial. I get that the show started that way, and it will end that way. It's still annoying that they're making him the focal point of the show now though. They don't seem to know what they're doing with the side characters. Carey is just hanging around and is now involved with the trial? Ok... |

Inthink it will keep with the rest of the season and snooze to a close.
Some twist will allow Alicia to save the day and get Peter off the hook, then she'll return home to cuddle in bed with Jason. Yawn. |

| I absolutely hate this season. I see no point in then throwing in Jason. It's like no matter how successful she becomes, she's not complete unless she has a man in her life. Jason seems like such an after thought. She's barely known him and now she's goo goo ga ga over him. I don't get it. My prediction is she ends up alone and Peter is convicted. Or Peter is convicted and she waits for him. Either way I think Peter will go to prison. |

| PPs, agree. She and Jason have no chemistry, and it's all very forced. I'll watch the last episode, but I've skipped a number this season. Expand the office or not. Peter goes to jail or not. All the same. |

| I am really irritated about last night's episode. You cannot title something "the verdict" and then have a cliffhanger where the verdict should be. |

I actually think it may be a bit of a non-ending or cliff-hanger.
Final shot of Jason Cruse sitting in his truck driving away, alone. Peter being taken in cuffs out of court to jail... Alicia opening a bottle of wine... in that "life goes on" way. |

Here's what I don't get. What was all that about Eli turning on Peter? What happened with that? |

I think because he realized if he hurt Peter, he hurt Alicia. I am ok with this season, not thrilled. I think they are just out of story lines. I mean, Cary and Alicia left the firm, but somehow they all got back to the same big firm, same players, same office? Was that studio cheaper to shoot in ? I kind of hope they pull out something big, but I do not expect it. But it was a good run, even if it does not end with a bang. |
