Every election “the economy is so bad”

By any objective measure, the American economy is doing very well, especially when compared to the rest of the world. Americans whining about their economy which has full employment, declining inflation, a strong dollar, best-ever oil production, and rising wages is just the height of entitlement and ignorance.

Republicans will never admit the economy is doing well under Biden no matter what.

It is nothing more than a GOP smear campaign.

The sad thing is. Many of these MAGAs are boomers with conservative retirement portfolios. That 5% cash rate really helps them even if it hurts borrowers. That, combined with the markets nearing all time highs. They should be celebrating in the streets. And they would if it was "their team" doing good things for the economy and of course, crowing about trickle down tax cuts as the reason (as opposed to Biden's focus on the middle class and industrial policy).

Last summer a seasoned Bloomberg Finamcial expert, Tom Keene asked if BLS was cooking the data. Now we know

Ah yes, let's look to a Heritage Foundation economist hack that has consistently been wrong about the BLS figures as well as the fact that the revisions are actually suggesting the economy is stronger than initially reported!

Don’t say “so much winning!” It is winning, but we used “so much winning” for Trump’s incompetency that it seems like sarcasm now.

Lay people don't care about reports one way or another. THey are more concerned about family members being laid off in hundreds of different sectors across the country; they worry that their children who graduated college in May 2023 are still without jobs; they worry about cost of food to feed their families. No one gives a f about pretty power point presentations when they will go to vote.

The president doesn't set the cost of food.
The president doesn't hire and fire for companies.

What the president can do is use the instruments of government to maximize opportunity, which is what this president has done. The results have been far above expectations, even if it hasn't touched 100% of the people. It never does.

Normally I would agree but Trump broke that model. He said every day, "We have the best economy, the most beautiful economy" and people believed that. Guess what, UNDER BIDEN, we have THE BEST ECONOMY, the most beautiful economy. Even Trump Advisors are saying it.
