Attack on GDS student today?

I heard a GDS student was beaten and robbed outside the school today. Can anybody confirm?

Yes. It's true. Robbed of his phone. Thankfully, he's fine.

I wonder if it was the same (adult) perpetrator who robbed a Wilson student the other day.

The description going around for the GDS assault is of three black teenagers. The description of the person who stabbed the Wilson student was an Asian or Hispanic adult.

There were two other robberies in the area recently, also reportedly by three teenagers. One was in the 3900 block of Chesapeake. The other at River and Brandywine. A knife was reported to have been shown by the perpetrators in both incidents.

Yes but it's a very nice, safe neighbirhood. AU Park. The probem is the nearby DCPS Wilson high school and the close by Metro Station in Tenleytown. Both bring in a shadier element.

NP, how about "troublemakers looking to prey on defenseless people in the area'? The troublemakers sometimes attend Wilson and other times they just use the easy access of metro to reach their prey.
