They did and they purposely didn't post them on their website because they don't want any players.

Typically at the end of the spring season (once teams' games are over--so no one bails out early), although sometimes they've posted before that, especially if there are rain makeups - i.e., early June. |

Actually they really do not publish that much info on their site. I think they just put up the tryout info last week? It's kind of crazy. I heard Karen is moving to Arlington....may the craziness continue! |

I'm the coach of a Stoddert rec team, and our team starting receiving emails about travel tryouts in early April. I think 1.5 months is more than adequate notice.
Don't know when they posted the dates on their website, but it had to have been before the emails were sent, since the emails led to a registration link on the site. Not sure how they could have made the tryout info any easier to locate. |

| They will be posted for U10 on May 23rd. I presume all teams will be posted on that date. |

I assume some of you were at the Stoddert travel tryouts today. Can anyone give a sense of how turnout was (such as how many players for each spot, was there a big drop off in talent, how many teams are they fielding at u9, u10, u11)?
My son is a strong u8 rec player, but I’m not able to commit to travel this year. He plays all the time at school with friends and with family and friends on the weekend, so he’s getting plenty of soccer. But I wonder how/if he’ll be accepted if he try out for stoddert travel for the first time at u9, u10 or even u11? Can kids come in at a later age and get a fair shake? Also, how many teams will be sharing a practice field during the season at each age group? Thank you! |
