I can explain the mom- she and her husband bought that house together 50 years ago. It wasn’t all that expensive- it has just appreciated over time. Most of the other residents in the neighborhood have just lived there a long time. Not wealthy people, typically. The rest are just college educated dual income households. Some doctors or lawyers etc -sure, but not “rich people”. Those people live further up the hill.

Savannah grew up very middle class. Attended the local U of A and lived at home during college. She may help her mother financially with some extras like travel or household help. I don’t get the sense Nancy lives a lavish lifestyle.

As for the sister and BIL- who knows. They are reported to be very close, but people don’t tend to air dirty laundry in public (especially if one family member is famous).

Why? It's not Savannah's duty to provide for her siblings.

It’s not her duty no. But I’d certainly be sharing the wealth with my brother and his family if I were worth 50 million and were not even that close..

Maybe the brother didn't want it.

Probably. You’d think there would be….signs…by now. It has been warm-ish this week. The lots are not so large that signs would not be noticed. Or at least I would not have thought so.

Ugh I had hopes this would end with Nancy being found alive but it seems like this is going to end badly.

So, did she just wander away, do we think? Or was she killed?

I assure you that if my sister was a national celebrity, ensuring that this story would explode in the media, and our mother was violently dragged from her home and now missing, it would not take me “Monday and Tuesday” to set up “back up plans” at home. I would be there in a second. Something is off here.

How does having a national celebrity sister prevent him from potentially setting back up plans for his own family?

You have no idea, do you, what it’s like to be related to even a minor celebrity, let alone someone like SG. And gee, you’d think he’d be just a tad bit worried about his mother.

At her age and health, 99.999% chance they wandered off and if not found relatively quickly, they die. I guess this could be the very rare time it’s some murder mystery.

I haven’t Zillowed it but I’m assuming that’s a large sq/ft $1M+ if not $1.5M home and property, right?

If she just wandered away they aren’t roping her home off as a crime scene, nor are they searching her daughter and son in law’s home, not to mention the ransom notes.

Yes probably about a million. Homes in the neighborhood probably ranging from 750K up to maybe $1.5M at the most. Property values up probably 30-40% in the last decade or so.

They’ve now arrived with a dog. I thought that had already been done on Sunday. Also searching the garage.

The “investigation” seems keystone cops-ish.

You clearly don't have an idea since you seems to think he has nothing better to do than follow Savannah around all day.
