Chechens are in hog heaven. They get the Russian green light to kill Russians, so why would they complain?
"the Russian Ground Forces used Chechen personnel from the 141st Special Motorized Regiment as barrier troops to shoot deserters who tried to leave combat zones during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barrier_troops

The Chechen war didn’t end in 2022. Russia did much worse to Chechnya and the Chechens but everyone got over it. You did too.

As long as Russia permits Chechens to torture and kill Russians, does the Kremlin really care?

"Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov opened his daily briefing with a shrug: “I will say from the start, I will not comment on the story about Kadyrov’s son,” he said. “I don’t want to.”"
"The abused prisoner was a Russian man,"
“For Russian intellectuals it emphasizes that Chechnya is a separate state, outside the laws of Russia,”
https://www.csmonitor.com/World/Europe/2023/1002/With-one-video-Russia-s-Chechnya-problem-seizes-the-spotlight-again

lol chechens do much worse to their own

As long as you acknowledge that once Putin has departed, Chechnya may decide that Russians are too weak to be their masters anymore.

"Ramzan Kadyrov, head of Russia's Chechnya region and close ally of President Vladimir Putin, proposed on Saturday that a presidential election due next March should either be postponed due to the war in Ukraine or limited to one candidate - Putin."
https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/putin-ally-suggests-postponing-march-presidential-election-or-excluding-rivals-2023-10-07/

Since we're on the subject of weak. Imagine what the Russian troops will think when they start receiving shipments from North Korea. How low has Russia sunk that North Korea is baling them out?

"Five days after the high-level meeting, satellite imagery showed a "gradual but steady increase" of freight boxcars, culminating to the "unprecedented" numbers of 73 railcars on October 5, according to Beyond Parallel."
https://www.politico.eu/article/russia-north-korea-vladimir-putin-rail-traffic-military-trasfers/

In the meantime, Putin's island seems to be a dangerous one to live on?

"An official of Vladimir Putin’s party has been killed in a car explosion"
"Vladimir Malov, executive secretary of of Russia‘s governing United Russia party in Nova Kakhovka, died in hospital"
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/ukraine-counteroffensive-putin-war-russian-losses-b2425772.html

LOL honey tell me you know nothing about Chechnya without telling me you know nothing. Chechnya isn't in this for a strong master. You really don't understand anything, do you.

LOL honey I think you didn't read the post very well? I think they're so much love between Chechnya and Russia (or Armenia, Kazakstan, etc.), that after Ukraine, Russian troops will be busy little bees for a very, very long time. Putin wanted a forever-war, he's got a forever war. I also believe that starting in January, a chain of events will play out over the subsequent 18-months, even if the Russian Government realizes it's happening (or maybe some already have). The best part is it's all self-inflicted. NATO hasn't fired a shot and the "West" hasn't done much of anything besides provide supplies. Even if Russia 'wins' in Ukraine (having to tie up hundreds of thousands of troops to 'maintain order' by committing genocide over 2/3rds of the country), or elects Trump / Ramaswamy into office, or 'nukes the West' (since we seem to be the only reason why Russia isn't perfect? lol); it won't matter.

lol yes it’s about you and your dear little beliefs

We need to end this war.

Cede Donbas and get it done / we need to focus on ourselves.

Solving the GOP implosion is not America's problem. We can support Ukraine and still run a country.

Why would a bunch of people who want to cut funding to Ukraine's army suddenly jump at the chance of funding Israel's army?

Don't you just hate when the current thing runs out of current?

Predictions for the next year or so:

Western attention and dollars go to Israel, and military supplies slow to a trickle.

Russia launches a limited offensive in the fall/winter.

The AFU starts to break in the spring/summer.

By fall, surrender negotiations are happening behind the scenes.

1. There are a whole lot more people in Congress that hold Israeli citizenship than Ukrainian.

2. Israel has a much greater chance of "winning" than Ukraine.

What makes you think the US has the ability to "cede Donbass", Dumba$$?

You don't get it. The Ukrainians and Russians are like the Palestinians and Israelis now. Russia has changed way too many lives and thinks they'll "conquer" Ukraine, then commit the genocide of millions, then keep going and do the same to other countries for ever and ever? Talk about delusional. Russia is dying and is losing control over the Far East as it looks West. I suspect that Russia will either become a vassal of China, or possibly separate the Far East into a separate country at some point?

"Eastern Siberia has actually been turned into a “raw materials pantry” for China".

Ukraine isn't associated with wacko Evangelical "End Times" prophecies but Israel is. That's pretty much it for some of the Republicans. They are using a 2000 year old book of fairy tales to try and guide our foreign and fiscal policies.

Exactly. The crazies think that advancing a war in Israel will bring on the end times.

We have already given Israel more than $150 billion.

My prediction: They will crush Hamas. This will be over in a month or less.

Which congress members are Israeli citizens? Or was this just made up, because I couldn’t find any with a quick search.

I looked this up, there are 0 members of congress with Israeli citizenship.

The only recent member of congress with dual citizenship was Ted Cruz, who had Canadian citizenship before giving it up recently.

De facto means: in fact

So you are saying that 9 Senators are in fact citizens. I in fact can lookup that none of them are actually citizens of Israel and never have been at any point in their lives.

Another anti-Semite that believes being Jewish, a religion, makes you Israeli.

Are Catholics citizens of Rome? Those with Italian ancestry have similar rights but it doesn’t make them citizens.
