Your aunt cannot be unrelated to you. Do you mean your uncle's wife? I can't imagine a situation in which this would not destroy a family.

OP here
Yes my uncles wife.

So you'd be marrying your uncle's wife's sister? Kinda where but not creeoy, imo, unless their is a big age difference & you knew each other when one of you was a kid & the other an adult.

Ha, what? Do you not understand that these people are not blood relatives? Think of it this way: it's exactly the same as if two men who are brothers marry two women who are sisters.

So you think marrying your uncle's wife (and I fully understand this is not incest) is good for family harmony? That this is "okay" for a family, and life just goes on? Are you nuts? Do you think incest is the only issue at stake here?

OP is talking about the SISTER of the uncle's wife.

You don't know that. That's the supposition of another poster.

OP responded to say that, yes, he is referring to his uncle's wife when he says "aunt". And in both the thread title and the original post, OP is speaking about the sister of that aunt. So, the sister of his uncle's wife.

But I love that you're doubling down on your inability to read the thread correctly.

I don't see the problem, unless there's some huge age difference and you're like 20 and she's 40, and even then, meh.

Yes, of course it's OK. You are not related.
