| What is it with men and March Madness. I have moved to bottom of the priority list. He has cancelled 4 nights together to stay home and watch basketball. I have stayed with him twice and watched basketball, but I'm so sick of this. The same thing happens during football season. How do I get a guy to put sports AFTER me? |
| Date a guy who isn't so into sports |
|
Don't expect him to change.
Agree with Pp. find someone else. |
| A DW here. If I watch basketball and football, he has to watch NHL playoffs and FIFA World Cup soccer. We get in fights over teams. I hate the USA. |
| This is who he is. It will be an issue for the rest of your lives. Either join him, find an interest of your own to do during that time, or find someone else. |
| Deal breaker. I would never date a guy that into spectator sports. I would rather date a dude with a porcelain doll collection. That's how much I loathe pro sports. |
| Pp here. Or collegiate! |
| Married to a sports junkie OP. BREAK UP. I hate it and it will always come first. |
| Start betting on the games. |
| Well, I'm the outlier. I like the time alone. I'd be having girls' nights out and doing stuff "I" like, like book talks and art galleries. |
| I'm a sports fan, so it works for us. It only became an issue when we had a baby and we couldn't both watch the games together. I could see how it would be an issue if only one person in the relationship likes sports. You can either find a way to deal, or you may want to look for someone else with similar interests to yours. |
| My DW and I like to plan sexy sport nights. She wears my favourite sport shirt with nothing on except for her black lace panties. |
|
I would not date a guy that does not watch march madness,
It's the most wonderful time of the year. |
| How can anyone get that excited over that many sports they don't currently play? I'm into one sport that I played competitively, but I was never rabid. He's a loser. |
It's not, actually. It's people who haven't grown up watching school teams full of entitled young men. |
