St. Paul's College Seminary
Moving next year, it is a permanent location Space will be shared with Washington Leadership Academy, nonprofit office space and teacher housing |
|
Is this the space? http://www.cbre.us/o/washingtondc/properties/st-pauls-college/Pages/st-pauls-college.aspx
It is gorgeous. Is this confirmed and finalized? (It looks really close to the current location). If so, impressive work by that school's leadership. |
| Yes and final enough that they announced to the school earlier today. |
| Well I'll admit that I'm surprised that it took 90 minutes for the info to hit DCUM. The new location certainly meets all the variables that leadership has been aiming for since the very beginning and promises a new and exciting future for the school! Congratulations Lee Families (and our soon-to-be-lotteried families!). The wait is over! |
|
Wow. Beautiful!! Way to go Lee!
ITS mom |
| Ugh, come on fellow Lee parent. Can't we keep this to ourselves for a single day? Did you have to post this here? Are we sure paperwork has been completely signed? |
Yes. Beautiful building! And yes. Also move is this year - contrary to previous plans. |
+1 Another Lee parent. |
| So it is the Potomac Lighthouse space? |
No, that's deeper in Brookland. It looks like, at least according to this link, it was a commercially available (Catholic owned?) property very close to the current location. Google tells me .23 miles. If it is confirmed, it is a great location get. |
It is confirmed. |
|
This isn't anti-climatic, that's for sure. Big surprise.
Comes to late too adjust lists but just in time for lottery decisions in a couple weeks. |
| How much is it going for? How much of the space will Lee use? |
THIS is exactly why OP should have kept their mouth shut until we have the signed paperwork. |
|
Congratulations Lee families. OP was probably just excited and wanted to share the good news, no need to start criticizing. This is so amazing for the school, let's keep it positive.
