Except Capital leads M&D and Hero's with current top ten program commits over the past two years:

Capital = 9
M&D = 8
Hero’s = 3

Keep trying

It's actually
M&D 9
Capital 8
Hero's 6
Capital did have a very good 2025 team.

Is the poster including Maryland in these stats? If so, they are not accurate (UMD isn’t top ten).

That's an RPI listing. Literally nobody (except evidently Capital Blue fanatics) uses that to reference top rankings in any sport anywhere, women's lacrosse included.

I still don't quite understand why Capital gets the hate it does particularly on this board. I get it they are mostly a bunch of rich private school families but why so much hate? Very odd to me

Cool... so let's disregard the NCAA's official rankings (based on actual math and statistical analysis) and trust results based on what the coaches *think* since it serves your interest. Either way, the point stands -- Capital talent is legit and the PP who wants people to believe otherwise has zero credibility.

Considering the team that just won the NCAA Championship is not #1 in this RPI, you see why its not really used.

Use the ILWomen/IWLCA Division I Poll.

The NCAA don't do rankings. Official rankings, lol. They have various math stuff that they use in order to aid in seeding teams for the NCAA tournament. For women's lacrosse, it's RPI.
UMD was seeded 4, made the quarterfinals. JHU and SBU were unseeded, lost in the second round, but because they lost to high ranked teams, their RPI benefits. Great losses!

So you believe BC is not the top ranked team? Check out your DD's schedule when she starts playing in college. When they a play a ranked team, it'll show on the schedule, the IWLCA ranking that week. Not RPI. That'll be the case for D3 women's lacrosse, D2 field hockey, D1 football, everyone.
Again, literally the only place in the world for any sport do people make claims about rankings of RPI is here for Capital Blue homers. Serve your interest much? And I suspect that will shift when it benefits them at cocktail parties to look at something else a year or 2 from now.

do the Montgomery County cocktail party meme for me. Or the one with parents yelling at refs from the sidelines at a random field for rough play.

A lot of time and effort overlooking the main point. Even using the IWLCA poll Capital still beats Hero's and is one behind M&D in pending commits to top ten programs.

Yes. I actually posted those results. And complimented Capital. But that's evidently not enough for some.

Why do you all keep looking at the commits for other classes. It all depends on how good the team is in the age group. Personally there were a few surprises to make capital this year and there may be some changes to that team next summer. The bigger question is going to be how many spots are open for our daughters. With roster limits going into effect and coaches holding some spots for transfers how does that impact the 28s.
