Cool... so let's disregard the NCAA's official rankings (based on actual math and statistical analysis) and trust results based on what the coaches *think* since it serves your interest. Either way, the point stands -- Capital talent is legit and the PP who wants people to believe otherwise has zero credibility.[/quote]The NCAA don't do rankings. Official rankings, lol. They have various math stuff that they use in order to aid in seeding teams for the NCAA tournament.  For women's lacrosse, it's RPI.  
UMD was seeded 4, made the quarterfinals.  JHU and SBU were unseeded, lost in the second round, but because they lost to high ranked teams, their RPI benefits.  Great losses!

So you believe BC is not the top ranked team?  Check out your DD's schedule when she starts playing in college.  When they a play a ranked team, it'll show on the schedule, the IWLCA ranking that week.  Not RPI.  That'll be the case for D3 women's lacrosse, D2 field hockey, D1 football, everyone.
Again, literally the only place in the world for any sport do people make claims about rankings of RPI is here for Capital Blue homers. Serve your interest much? And I suspect that will shift when it benefits them at cocktail parties to look at something else a year or 2 from now.[/quote]
