I would think some of it is open secrets among people who know, or maybe “suspect, but have no proof” is a better framing. I don’t know that anyone else has email proof and whatever other proof was accessible to Russia in the hack, but I do know that the GOP is still doing Russia’s work for them so it’s not like the proof is going to be released. My money is still on the GOP having stolen various elections for twenty or so years. - Stephanie |
I honestly don’t have time to watch. I’m telling you, and I hate to be the Cassandra here, but unless we see indictments very soon, this is entirely counterproductive and will just hand the republicans control. They need to be stopped and a political process isn’t the way to do that. Where is Justice? |
***and, even if charges are brought. |
Good addendum to my post, thank you. So many people are so easily distracted - CRT! Trans kids! WoOoOoKe!!!!!! The sQuAd!!!! - that they’re missing the GOP’s fascism. And not just the coup attempt, but the new laws that will pretty much exclusively throw Black people and Democrats off the voting rolls and will allow GOP houses to refuse to certify any wins they don’t like. But please, let the moderates continue whining about their misunderstanding of math education based off right wing talking points while the GOP burns down the country. |
Garland ain't charging nobody.
Sad. |
I think we will know a LOT more over the next 2 months. We are already seeing leaders of the paramilitary flipping. That would potentially tie the violence to Trump's inner circle. |
You are confused. Their base will consider this a feature, not a bug. |
+1 I believe there are some Rs sitting in on that committee as well. Or Trumpsters would call them RINOs, even though those "RINOS" have been life long Rs, while trump has not. |
