What do you think she should have worn on her head?
The hairband is the best part of her outfit. It's her dated hair and hair color that's always a problem.

My God, that dated hair and dated haircolor! You are so right! It’s so bad and so tacky! It’s so damn dated, I don’t understand how no one helps her with this.

I think the hair works for her. It's flattering, not too long, not too short, and yeah the feathery layers are a little dated but she's 71.

I did not like the headband though, too whimsical for a funeral

The queen would have welcomed her and would have had better manners than to criticize her dress or shoes or hair or headband.

Street style is a subset of fashion that focuses on flowy fabrics, rounded edges, and feminine details. This look is very different from the more traditional masculine styles. Men's clothing in this style will typically be more conservative and not include graphic t-shirts or other gaudy details. Women's clothing in this style will often be made from natural colors and prints https://www.amazingviralnews.com/white-feather-pajamas-all-you-need-to-keep-your-style-on-the-highest-level/

I’d love to see her in well-tailored jackets or more classic, structured dresses. She looks great in heels and jewel tones. She’s naturally very pretty. She’d look amazing with a low light with dirty blonde to amber warm with just a few face framing highlights. Straighter hair and less fussy and styled.

Better bras and pretty dressmaker details around her face so a
jewel neck top with an interesting g collar or even small ruffle - something g to scale with her (I assume) smaller, petite frame.

The printed dress shown above wears HER because the print and bright red belt are too big for her. Solids or tiny prints would be a huge improvement. She looks like she has borrowed someone else’s clothes.

Come and help me! I feel like I don’t know any of this. You should hang up a shingle and do style advice. Or maybe you already do! I feel overwhelmed reading these comments. I am sure I look awful going around on the daily and have no idea. I think Biden looks very herself…

PP quoted and thanks, you’ve made my day! I’ve been doing mini makeovers in my head since I was in third grade! I do this for fun only!

I do splurge on expensive bras due to my measurements and am known for being well-dressed on a budget.

I’m just a highly visual, observational person and do help my DD and close friends.

This is not rocket science - a black hat like every other women that was there.

It is really baffling that she cannot get a stylist to help her figure this stuff out.

How ridiculous. Yes, of course she would have but certainly would have criticized Jill privately. Jill Biden is the first lady of the United States of America, her appearance and her headband were disgraceful. She either didn't know better or did and decided to wear what she wanted, ie head piece. Either one is inexcusable. Disrespectful to the English culture and the monarchy. Makes Americans look ignorant, classless, and bad.

Someone should have stopped her from leaving the house in that.

She seems like such a familiar “type” to me. Like this outfit says, “Bethesda Gonzaga grandmother visiting Bethany Beach.”

Oh my gosh YES spot on!!! Also remind me of mother in law--they dress like this in the South

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen sequins in this color and I kind of love it.

PP “Stylist” referenced @ 16:14.

Here’s my take on Jill’s look for Elton event:

Here, she should have had her hair pulled back or a more formal look to match her dress. I don’t like her everyday hairstyle and here it appears too casual for this event. A loose chignon or straighter style with lightly curled ends would be more appropriate.

I do not like this color on Jill. She would look magnificent in black or a stunning jewel tone but this color is too precious on her and washes her complexion out. Also, once again, the dress is ill-fitting, especially around her mid section. Far more flattering design would be boat or v-neck with some detail to highlight her shape - she does have a pretty figure.

Is she borrowing someone’s clothes? She never looks at ease in her clothes and I’ve yet to see her in anything flattering!

Call me, Jill! I have a great hairstylist who is brutally honest and has never led me astray! Allow me to do your colors, just like I learned to do as a Girl Scout in the 80s!

I don’t care for the fit of the blue dress either. And the shoes?? A bow tied the ankle. Just no.

I’m always interested in handbags, what handbags does Jill Biden typically carry?

OMG give it a rest and get OVER yourself. Who appointed you the know-it-all first lady's stylist? Nobody, that's who.

I thought Jill looked great and the color of dress was perfect.

It made me even happier to see our President and First Lady again inviting artists to the White House and using it as a stage for music and fun. I missed that for 4 years.
