There was no brick thrown. And no, really, whether the people he shot were felons or boy scouts doesn't matter in the moment. They went after a guy who'd just shot and killed someone. Typically they'd be described as brave, as heroes.

Like maybe they were going to say, “hey we appreciate you coming out...but there’s a lot happening here and it would be safer for everyone, you and us including, if you guys took those guns home,” but the mayor ordered them not to? Not sure what that has to do with it, but I have owned multiple handguns for over a decade, belong to a gun club, and shot them regularly before the pandemic. Thanks for asking!
