No it’s not right that this child can put other teammates down and yell at coaches, teardown the team then gets to go to the highest platforms like the NTC. It’s not helpful to her or anyone else. Being a team player and respectful is essential and needs to be expected and respected.

There it is. NTC. It’s jealousy causing you to talk about a child anonymously on the internet.

Right or not it should be a lesson that people are always watching and people will talk. Always be on your best behavior and present an image that you wouldn't be ashamed of people talking about anonymously.

Right. You obviously live your lesson by posting anonymously on what we should all be doing, known only to yourself. Guess nobody is watching the watcher, huh?

If you know VDA, you know who the watcher is.

The fake NTCs that some clubs use for propaganda? FCV to steal talent and the other clubs to get attention of nearby clubs that have no DA/ECNL? Those clubs with no DA|ECNL have a new opportunity, “parents” be smart your kid doesn’t need DA/ECNL and all its shit to achieve your college or other soccer goals.

Whether you like it or not, DA/ECNL are increasingly becoming the gateway to college + soccer. I get you want to rage against the system, but forging your own path is unlikely to succeed and a whole lot harder.

I appreciate your frustration. Some coaches and clubs will cater to these kids in excess because they want to hang onto any YNT prospects, even when it harms the development of the rest of the team.

What a hypocrite you are. You are truly shameful. NTC’s are silly and not the highest platform. They’re not even close. It sounds like you’ve never been to one though.

Increasingly becoming huh. Go back and look at the stats when it was just ECNL. 95+% from ECNL went to play in college with mid 70% playing D1. That is now spread out with the DA, so overall the numbers are down in each league but it nearly a guaranteed path to play in college if you DD/DS so desires and puts forth the effort.

Love it when people argue with each other and are saying the same thing.

DP. There is certainly politics to them, no question. And the training is mediocre. However, NTCs are the pathway that gets you call ups, at least at the younger ages. There is some effort to call up players from top D1 colleges and the NWSL that have never been called up before. However, if you see any U17 or below get called up, even if they have aged out, they have been to an NTC. I do not know of any exceptions.

What are you talking about? NTC are the filter to being called into a camp. They are regional but still among the best players in the region.

I think PP’s point is this CHILD is being called out anonymously on the internet by a jealous parent whose DD has not received a NTC invitation.

So you think that because someone is calling out a bratty Pre-Madonna teen for her bad behavior, said person is jealous? Your foolish. Just as said before NTC is politic and the first step to nothing. If what is said above are true behaviors this girl is displaying and she is acting like this on the field or to her coaches it will be seen and soon enough no matter how good she is it won’t be dealt with. Isn’t there another 05 that goes to the TC? I don’t think this has anything to do with jealousy as no one has brought that kid up, have they? Or the handful of 06 that goes. I think this is subjective to the specific attitudes that this player is distributing.

It is easy to be a good teammate and to exhibit a positive attitude. The higher the quality the player, the higher the rise the hotter the spotlight. More people are watching a player like this and fair or not players like this live in a fishbowl and will be judged and discussed more publicly than other players. It does come with the territory.

Don't like the negative attention then change the narrative with proper conduct.

I love how any time people criticize anything on this forum, the automated response is jealousy and you are a dopey idiot. I don't even take those rebuttals seriously any more.
