Why is Blake Lively so overrated?

They were the first comments on NYTimes too. Think she is doing all the SM things she accused Baldoni of doing.

Without a doubt. Her and her husband are the most astroturfed celebs ever. Nobody cares about these two boring has-beens, stop shoving them in our face. Blake was famous 20 years ago on a cheesy teen soap opera and she wasn’t even the star, the Chuck Bass guy carried that show.

You care. A lot. Baldoni sounds like scum so he gets what he gets.

This is the kind of person Blake Lively is and it’s why social media so easily turned against her.

Wow. That must have been so awful for her. Is she ok? At least the person wasn't subjected to conversations about Blake's porn addiction and other uncomfortable conversations like Baldoni likes to engage in.

But that’s not the only thing Lively is suing for. She’s claiming the PR people ruined her reputation. That poster is telling you she is doing a good job ruining it all on her own.

I get it you don't like her or her hair products or whatever. But her claims against Baldoni, who happened to be on a smear campaign against her to get ahead of his problems, are far more interesting than a throw away comment to a tiktoker.

I have no idea what this comment means. Where is the damage to someone’s reputation when you circulate the truth? What is the monetary damage to reputation when someone had a poor one to start. Those are the questions that interest me.

Thank you to poster of the full complaint. Beyond awful if only 1% of the claims true. If this is what happens to star like het with A-list husband, scary to be a female in Hollywood still. Me too didn’t change too much.

I don’t know if I agree. Some of the things she is complaining about sounds like creative differences. Being in movies that have strong content are hard and not for everyone. You do have to talk through scenes and improvise. Sounds like she should not be in movies with sexual and violent themes because the acting is so challenging. Also beyond that she is so rude to reporters and that is on her.

Entertainment is interesting. Studios and people in power screw over everyone. They lose their perspective and screw over people they should not. Taylor Swift is one. Tim McGraw is another. You probably could screw over Blake and get away with it. But not her husband. This will not end well for those dudes. Their agency dropped them today. That is as bad as it gets.

That a PR agency can turn so many people against someone so powerful is horrrifying

I was victim of a trolling campaign by one individual several years ago. It was such an awful experience and I was so powerless.

Ppl! Read between the lines. No one On SET is team baldoni. It doesn’t matter what we think of Blake. Baldoni really blew it here, she’s a bigger star and this could have been his chance. He’s been riding the controversy for months. I’d like to know what the Jane the virgin set ppl noticed. Was he a douche there too?

I’m in the both things can be true camp.

Blake was treated horribly and unfairly.

Blake is also over exposed and always seems hungry for more fame and exposure and it’s a turn off to fans. The PR campaign against her was AWFUL but also pretty easy because they had a lot to go on given how over exposed and shallow she seems.

Celebrity culture has changed and some celebs have not adapted. J Lo and Blake/Ryan are still acting like it’s 10 years ago. But it’s not. The onslaught of social media and the pandemic changed things. What used to work for them is not working anymore.

And Justin and that creepy producer sound like awful people.

Of note, it is my understanding that this is not an actual lawsuit yet. It’s a complaint, which is often a precursor to a lawsuit, but there’s still a chance both sides could come to an agreement before it turns into a lawsuit.

WME dropped him

Isn't Ryan with the same agency?
I'm not saying it didn't happen to Blake but there's so much more to this story

More such as why couldn’t Justin just be respectful and professional?

No, a complaint is the initial document of a lawsuit. This is a court filed lawsuit. It’s interesting that her co-counsel are two DC attorneys.

I believe this was filed at the EEOC which is a precursor to filing in court.
