Any instate?! |
| Can we expect anymore waves from Duke? |
There has been recent cycles where they didn’t really go to the waitlist at all, so no. |
It was moving yesterday. |
| WashU is putting in running a whisper quiet ED3 round where they are putting in calls to students to ask if student will definitely accept and if so, they get an offer off the waitlist. But if you say yes, you are expected to accept (verbally binding). So be ready because anecdotally I hear they are making multiple calls this past week! |
Lot of schools handle the wait list this way. Schools want the list to move quickly. |
Emory mom, reporting live on Fox5 |
Every year the incoming class has gone up. I'm sure they don't want this year to be the exception. |
Yeah, there's nothing low key about this. |
| NYU is moving. |
| Not a waitlist but USC appeals were released |
|
Confirmed waitlist movement from DC's school:
Offer of acceptance to students on waitlist: MIT (one offer) NYU (two offers) Emory (one offer) "Whisper waitlist" or ED3: verbal offer and actual offer only when student verbally commits in advance: Williams WashU |
Do you happen to know if it is in DMV area and which school it is? |
|
STOP SAYING ED3.
It’s normal for schools to call to check if the kid wants the offer. Some don’t. Many do. Calm down. |
What a bizarre term. In May (?!) |
