Yea, I often wonder where these kinds of posts are coming from. Stalkers? Liars? Or are they kids? If it's adults, wow, they have issues.

If your kid is at a private school and has other private school friends in town, you hear EVERYTHING. My kids even text me from school when a kid gets a WL call. Yes, they are all that nosy.

DP, I'm not stalking but I do follow my kid's school's insta page. Updates show up automatically. Or my kid or one of my parent friends will mention that a friend from another school has switched commitments. For those who have normal lives irl, it is common to interact socially with others. Foreign concept for some on DCUM, I know.

+2. Yes, extremely normal. I have twins, I follow their class IG and get updates on what's happening from my Mom friends, my twins, etc.., who has commited where, who is WL, etc., etc. It's a fun and exciting time for the kids and for their parents. To find this sad or weird, is well...sad and weird...

Agree - it’s just 1 or 2 ppl who clearly have no relationship with their kid and their lifelong friends.
