Sure, give visas to extraordinary applicants, but first put the positions up to the sunlight to ensure the H1B applicants are actually needed. In many cases Americans are not given a chance by Indian managers because they are not Indian. Simple as that. The Indian managers are vested in the H1B hiring pipeline. Their friends and relatives in India want those visas.

Melania isn't nearly as beautiful as MAGA thinks she is but she also got an Einstein visa to strip off her clothes. Trump only likes Eastern Europeans, which is why he gets h2b visas for white Eastern Europeans at his resorts. Oh, and he increased those h2b visas in the first few months of office back in 2017.

Do we have a dearth of low skilled workers in the US who couldn't do the job at his resorts? No. Hundreds applied, but he still imported white Eastern Europeans for those jobs.
