He bought himself more time, which probably is upsetting to a lot of Ds who think he is the weakest candidate vs. Trump and want to get this over.

They will be in an even bigger jam if they expect to oust Biden without having a strong and coherent plan that delivers a win - and that win needs to be two pronged - the White House in order to deal with SCOTUS, and that win needs to be control of Congress, likewise to deal with SCOTUS by codifying the things they are trying to overturn, or to impeach and remove Trump if the Dems don't take the White House. If they don't have such a strong and well thought out plan, there will be hell to pay - from pissed off fellow Democrats who watched them knife Biden in the back. I won't be forgiving to Dems if Dems lose all over whatever scheme it is they are planning.

It’s common for men with dementia to flash back to childhood somehow and believe their wives or their daughters or nurses are their mothers . When they find out that caretaker isn’t their mother, they can get confused, throw a hissy fit , and can even lash out or become violent . The brain is such a horrible thing to watch deteriorate. I just starting plowing through this huge thread today and my comment has probably been pointed out by others.

IMO Jill Biden's "You answered all the questions" comment is the only ad the Trump campaign needs to run to show that Biden is no longer competent. That comment, and the silly, incoherent look on Joe Bidens face was more telling of what is going on than anything that happened in the debate. Biden needs to go. He has no chance of winning.

This is not about Trump this is about Biden. I hate people who keep comparing Biden to Trump. It’s simply not about who is more evil, better person, etc. it’s about an old man Biden who isn’t fit. This does not mean Trump is better or worse. This is why Dems struggle - it’s always focusing on how bad the other one is v how great their person is. It just can’t always be reactive, stop making it about Trump and make it about Dem leadership! That’s how you win. I mean I’m totally anti GOP and Trump but you just can’t keep telling people who are for that team how dumb they are and how much they suck.
