Candice and Brandon probably thought they were one deal away from making it big and saw their lifestyle as necessary branding - fake it til you make it.

I think when they sold their penthouse in Tribeca she was like “we just needed a change,” but actually they needed a major cash infusion. And then they couldn’t afford to buy and had to rent instead. I could see her trying to spin her Florida move this way.

His dad passed away in 2016 and, immediately thereafter, problems started.Covid-19 just put an end to the charade. He was never a successful, he just ran a ponzi scheme of sorts.

Drawing from interest on 600M is 12M A YEAR. if they had that much money they’d have been fine, even spending 1M a month which they were not.
