Not really, the more people talk about how much they don’t like her, the less financing she’ll get for that next album. Eventually she will fade away. |
Did you miss the part where she said this upon its release the other day? The Tortured Poets Department. An anthology of new works that reflect events, opinions and sentiments from a fleeting and fatalistic moment in time - one that was both sensational and sorrowful in equal measure. This period of the author’s life is now over, the chapter closed and boarded up. There is nothing to avenge, no scores to settle once wounds have healed. And upon further reflection, a good number of them turned out to be self-inflicted. This writer is of the firm belief that our tears become holy in the form of ink on a page. Once we have spoken our saddest story, we can be free of it. And then all that’s left behind is the tortured poetry. |
Watch her win a Nobel Prize. |
Blech, I need a tooth brush! |
She might as well have named the album “The Matty Healy Department.”
It’s clear Taylor is not over him and the relationship ending wasn’t her choice. She was probably emotionally cheating on Joe with Matty for a while. She guest sang at his London concert in Jan’23. Those two have been pining for each other for a very long time. Bummer her crazy fans drove him away, I actually think those two would have made a great couple. |
It’s all theatre. And doing the same template for 15 plus years, it’s insane she still has a following. Zzzzzz. |
Omg the album is horrible. |
The songs that were produced by Jack are brilliant because he is close with both Taylor and Matty and knows the intricacies of what went wrong very well. He even produces some of the 1975s songs. |
Peter is Matty Healy. How Did It End is 100% Joe. |
The tortured poets are Matty and Joe, which I can buy. Both are artsy and broody Englishmen. She even says it in the opening lines of the title song, how Matty left his typewriter in her apartment straight from the tortured poets department. |

To me it sounds very much like the 1975s, which is the British band her star-crossed ex man is the lead of. |
People with regular lives marry, have children, some with special needs, family illnesses and deaths, stressful or boring or underpaying jobs, career changes, relocations, money problems etc. etc. But that’s regular people. She clearly leads an extraordinary life and doesn’t have to deal with any of that day to day. Good for her! I honestly would much rather be dating the hottest men in the world, partying with stars and writing poetry till 2am than dealing with the above mentioned mundane stuff…for the rest of my life if I could ![]() |
